we were very well received in the pro shop. they have a nice practice facilities. the course is in good shape. nice tee blocks, good fairways and excellent greens. the pace of play was also good. it is nice to see all the deers roaming the golf course. we would definitely play there again.

The course is usually in very good condition. Some of the holes are quite challenging. Played during the week. Pace was somewhat slow, a little over 4-1/2 hours for a threesome. Greens and fairways were in good condition and rolled true. I am a Palmer Course member in the Houston area, so green fees were reasonable.

I've played Silverhorn before and really like the course. But...usually very slow. Went out yesterday w/ GolfNow discount. Started at 2:40. Found the course in great shape and pace of play was very good -- 4 hours total for 18 holes. They were managing the golfers well, I will go back.

My brother and I looked forward to playing this course. For Christmas, we both received a $50 gift card for Silverhorn. At check-in we were told we both had $8.95 balance left on each gift card after our green fees were charged. We asked if we could use that in the grille after the round for lunch/drinks and were told... More

The reviews I read of this course were extremely misleading. In fact, it's a pretty high price for a mediocre golf experience. The pace of play on this course was slower than anything I've ever seen, and there's no course marshall in sight to move things along. My wife and I ended up skipping from number 5 to the back... We haven't played this course in over ten years. It is in great shape, specially for winter. The greens and tees are in very special condition. The people here are so friendly. I felt like I was in a private club. We played with one of the guys from the pro shop and his wife. They were lots of fun.... More

One of the best golf opportunities in San Antonio. For winter play in south Texas course is in great shape compared to others. People are great.

We have had several business and personal meetings here - with and without golf. They have always done a good job and worked with us.

Wanting to go play a course that we hadn't visited in a long time. I selected Silver Horn in San Antonio, TX. What a mistake. I booked an 8:40 tee time figuring it was early enough to finish in a reasonable time. WRONG! The first clue was the filled parking lot at 8:15 upon arrival. Checked in to find out... More
