Overview
More
Experience three unique attractions including the authentically unbelievable Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium, the exciting movies that you ride at Ripley's 4D Moving Theater and our larger-than-life Louis Tussaud's WaxWorks. Since 1918, our Believe It or Not Odditoriums have showcased the eclectically bizarre collection of Robert Ripley. We have carried on Ripley's tradition of scouring the globe for the world's most unbelievable exhibits. Authentic shrunken heads, two-headed animals and, a 19th century vampire killing kit only scratches the surface of what's behind the doors of Ripley's San Antonio.

I got the 3-attraction (Tussaud's wax museum, 4D movie, and Ripley's Odditorium) combo (you save three bucks per admission) and visited with family. I used to watch Ripley's believe-it-or-not TV show with Jack Palance back in the 80s when I was a child, so this...More

Had a good time, lots of interactive things to do. Shocked to see the USA listed as the highest murder rate (1997 data) when in fact we're not even the top 100 today, 1/3 less than the global average and almost half now what it...More

This is located right in the heart of downtown San Antonio. It's a fun break for kids. Leave them here and go drink a margarita on the Riverwalk!

This multiple-level museum has something to offer for the young and old alike. There is a good amount of reading throughout the whole place, especially with Mr. Ripley's original collected materials. We spent around two and a half hours here and would have liked some...More

This might be fun for young kids, but it's very overpriced. Our group was all adults and we found this to be a total waste of money.

When visiting San Antonio and the Alamo, I noticed that there was a Ripley's right across from the Alamo. We went in and there are floors of things that were weird and "out of the ordinary". Pretty cool though! Not great directions on how to...More

Small place but kids enjoyed the information and you could spend a lot of time particularly if they enjoy video games. Getting the option for unlimited times is good with the tomb raider ride which has free video games (old and some not working). Our...More

After leaving The Alamo, we went into Ripley's. The kids really enjoyed it. Unlike an actual museum they were able to walk freely without me having to worry that they'd break something. They were very entertained watching exhibit after exhibit. By the time we made...More

Had a great time! We bought the 3-way pass on Groupon ahead of time. Super easy that way and cheaper! Waited in line for the 4D movie but it was too long so we skipped that. Wax museum was phenomenal and the odditoroum was neat!
