Located right across the street from Market Square, this is a nice park with playground equipment, picnic tables, plenty of shade trees, and sculptures. The north west corner of the park is also a main bus stop so from there you can go anywhere else in town.

What a cool place for kids and to break away from El Mercado. This park is just North of El Mercado (next to Children's Hospital). The park has a really clean playground with many cool bits to it. The park is lined with cool cast iron benches and lampposts which are ornate and clean. While the ambulances and firetrucks are running around, we were still able to enjoy a short rest while the kids played away! The benches were clean as was the entire park. If you have a family with small children, and they were bored at the El Mercado, step away for a few Minutes and let them play here;) …

pretty park across Children's Hospital. Went there to let the children play and feed the pigeons. Nice little park lots of trees and shade to sit under .
