The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

My second experience here. So wonderful. Not great for someone who is disabled with all the steps. Maybe I just missed the elevators?

Whether out for a casual stroll or looking for a shop or restaurant this walkway has it all. We particularly enjoyed the boat tour. It took just under an hour and we got to see and hear about the history of the area. The walkway...More

We walked the river walk this visit, and although San Antonio is famous for it, I just don't get it. It is a river surrounded by concrete and restaurants. For a much better feel, go south, get on a bicycle, and ride the mission trail...More

Our family has been on the river walk many times, with and without our children. The last time, when they were in college, we and another family went (again) on the boat cruise, and it was great! It is open year-round, but the temperature is...More

We went here because of the reviews. The restaurant served great food & was equally as good in service. I'm happy we took the reviewers advice & tried it out.

Second trip to the River Walk! After strolling along, choose a restaurant and spend a little time just hanging out with a meal or drinks. Family oriented during the afternoon. Kids will enjoy seeing ducks and ducklings!

It's a very unique place to visit and full of great attractions and is surrounded by many great stores, food, souvenirs and bars. I will definitely visit again.

It was so different than what I imagined. It was so beautiful I was speechless. Definitely have to make another trip there. We took our child in the stroller. Just make sure you find the elevators so you can avoid the stairs.

There are elevators or help get around from the the Riverwalk to the street attractions. Some of the Riverwalk area is cobblestone and some areas are narrow, but I have seen wheelchairs and strollers get through. As for the... More
