It's touristy for sure but the Riverwalk is absolutely beautiful and worth a visit. Gorgeous hotels, restaurants, shops and many beautiful trees line the river and at night it just glows. Don't miss the boat tour. $10 and worth every penny.

Definitely recommend a walk around the Riverwalk. There are lots of restaurants and bars and crafts and makes for a nice afternoon stroll or evening out. Be prepared for a really upbeat and lively atmosphere.

If you don't visit the River Walk while in San Antonio, you're really missing out on something special. Make sure you take the barge tour. Eat in the restaurants and visit the shops.

It is mostly concrete, but walking along the water is sublime like the wilderness. It was gray in December when we visited and it is still a must-see. I can imagine that early Summer would be an amazing time to come back. I might have to do that soon.

We walked from one end the other end. It was full with restaurant and shop. We stopped for lunch and walk again and then stop again for ice cream...it was fun!

The ride was fun. Alfred was very engaging not only with riders, but others along the route. This is a must ride.

The atmosphere was surprising and enlivening...I never suspected there would be such a hidden gem in Texas! Very good walk. From there we were able to walk to an excellent vegan restaurant.

We stayed in the Westin for a meeting and loved the Riverwalk. Went running each morning, walking to lunch dinner and shopping

First time here and the Riverwalk is a joy. A nice slow paced stroll that goes forever. Many touristy shops and restaurants and bars. A good place to people watch. The river taxi is nice. A lot of edit points to get back up to the streets and hotels.
