The river walk was across the street from our hotel and a very easy way to get around the city, as it is positioned in city center. We explored much of it and enjoyed each and every time.

It is a top attraction in San Antonio for a reason. Lots of shops and restaurants and people watching is off the charts. There are some real gems mixed in the clutter of restaurants, so do a little homework to find the good ones.

The San Antonio River Walk is hidden but well-known by those who have discovered its charms. Hidden because it is below street level and not seen from a car window. It curves its way around downtown San Antonio which allows many hotels and restaurants to front onto it. Border with trees decorated at Christmas time, a stroll along it and... More

I had been told of how nice the Riverwalk was, but was blown away by how awesome it is. Very classy shops and restaurants. We went on a cool Sunday afternoon and enjoyed our short visit. We're definitely going back tomorrow.

10 dollars for the 35 min tour. Many restaurants are near by as well and shopping options. Parking near by ranging from 5 to 15 bucks.

The River Walk was beautiful, plus the Alamo had a lot of history that could be viewed. We parked in an all day lot for $15.00, but you can come and go for a 24 hour period for the one time charge.

This expanse of sidewalk along the river offers tourists a very interesting mix of shopping, dining, and further from the center, simply strolling along and enjoying the scenery along the river. Though it can get quite crowded in the downtown area, it's a fun way to explore the city. Barges cruise along the river and for a fee, you can... More

So much to see and do! We were very blessed with perfect weather. We enjoyed strolling and people watching, grabbing a coffee and letting the river flow by. Can't wait to return as there is a lot to see. People Watchers Paradise from the mall.

Beautiful walk with so many options: restaurants, parks, art, hotels, quiet spots. It has exceeded my expectations; I didn't imagine it to be so long with many twists and turns.

Winter time is when to go for sure. We travelled here a few years ago and there was so much people it was crazy during the summer months. I was able to walk around and see things this time.
