Try the boat tours!

It’s an amazing walk although the weather weren’t that nice. For a quick wrap of the place, go for the boat tours. We did that since we didn’t have much time.

Gone are the days when the Riverwalk was a bustling place for food and fun. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and after walking around and not seeing much going on, we finally found a small restaurant to have lunch. Most shops were closed and there were people on the boat ride, but that didn't look appealing to us.... More

Enjoyed the charm of River Walk. Our hotel was located on the walkways. Many restaurants and charming shops all in walking distance. We cruise the river on your boat and had a blast. River cruise is good way to familiarize the area and learn some history.

We enjoyed dinner, drinks and general people watching on the River Walk. It's a great place to watch the world go by because people are so happy! Big smiles on every face makes people watching enjoyable. Music is another great part of the River Walk.We strolled along and took it all in. Boat ride was also a fun way to... More

Riverwalk is a MUST DO if you're in San Antonio! It's an oasis of little shops and eateries, and I HIGHLY recommend taking the boat tour that winds throughout the Riverwalk. The "Captain" was funny (not corny-very witty) and the history he shared throughout the tour was FASCINATING! I wish we had had the time to go at night when... More

The place must be seen. It is hard to describe. Loved the restaurants, shops, people and the leisurely walk around the entire Riverwalk. This is something not to be missed.

Dirty, smelly, noisy, crowded, over priced restaurants. Better off skipping this disappointment. We're from Colorado, are river beds are nicer and cleaner.

Stayed in Omni La Manche hotel on the River walk so we could walk out back right on to the walk. Very convienent to get around, with lots an amazing variety of restaurants to choose from. From seafood to Italian to steak houses to TexMex to BBQ. There are strolling musicians to entertain as well as some restaurants have music... More
