What an interesting area! We stayed in a hotel right on the Riverwalk and had a room with a balcony right on the river. It was very enjoyable to sit out on the balcony in the evening and watch the people go by and watch the boats on the river. We spent four days walking along the Riverwalk and checking... More

We loved staying on the Riverwalk. It was fun to stroll and also relaxing to take the guided river cruise and learn the history of the area.

It's a very beautiful place with lots of restaurants to choose from. We took the River Walk cruise and it was a pleasant ride which was very informative.

It is nice to see and walk, but we went there in the morning, so most of the restaurants were still closed. I supose that at dinner you will see more animation

We came to San Antonio for the river walk and are not disappointed it is simply beautiful. Calm and tranquil it's like you are going back in time. The food options are excellent and while some are very expensive other are very reasonable. I was very sad to leave. Take the time to just walk up and down the river.... More

Though it is in the heart of the city, the river walk is actually a level below the road and its nice time to spend an evening with your loved one and have a nice dinner in one of the fancy restaurants on either sides of the river walk...

One of the best attractions that I've visited!!!! Tones of restaurants, shopping, and extremely well designed. Several waterfalls along the entire Riverwalk, easy access to both sides. Reasonable cost for the tour on the river. Very informative drivers. Even though a bird pooped on my shoulder, I had a great time!!!
