This was a must-see on our visit to salem and did draw quite a crowd, as it’s where the famous party spot in hocus pocus was filmed, where Bette Midler sang “I put a spell on you”. I can only imagine how busy it must get in Halloween season.

It’s a beautiful building & well preserved. It’s in the centre of the main high street so easy enough to find, but it isn’t signposted so keep your eyes peele

I was really excited to see all of the Hocus Pocus filming locations in Salem and the Town Hall was used as the Halloween party. It’s instantly recognizable. Today the hall houses the Cry Innocent play and the Salem Museum. Pro tip for Hocus Pocus fans: Cry Innocent is on the second floor where they filmed the party scene so if you see that you get to go inside the building to see that part where it was filmed too! It’s a really beautiful building inside and out!

All of the walking tours I've been on have visited the Salem Old Town Hall to point out it's where the Halloween party scene for Hocus Pocus was filmed. I've never been inside but there are re-enactments and people dressed in 1600s era clothing.

We saw this during our Ghost Tour & it was great, both my sisters and myself caught pictures of something in the upstairs windows. We went back the next day to use the sensory deprivation room. The two workers were so loud, it was a waste of time. All I could hear was them talking super loud.

Halloween in Salem was everything childhood-me dreamed it would be and more! We trick-or-treated at Dani/Max’s and Allison’s house (from Hocus Pocus), mingled with the street performers, listened to a bunch of great live music, and got to see some of the coolest costumes of all time! Be sure to take your pic outside of the Old Town Hall recreating Bette Midler's fabulous exit!

Great location, and we saw a re-enactment on the second level that we thoroughly enjoyed. Bit of a steep price for one hour, but guess it was worth it.

The Salem Old Town Hall hosts a nice, compact history of the town from its founding through the Great Fire of 1914. There is so much more to Salem than the witch trials that gives the town its draw today. I was most intrigued by the information on the early settlement, Federal architecture, and life of Nathanial Hawthorne. The price of admission is far less than any other museum in town (I paid $3) and it provides you access to the buildings toilets all day--well worth the price!

We got to see this during our Salem Heritage tour. A cute historic building. It appears in Hocus Pocus as the town hall. Right in the middle of all the action in Salem so it is easy to see. Free!

Though it is still called Old Town Hall, it is now a historical museum. The hold plays upstairs every so often. It is another building that was featured in Hocus Pocus. It's in the scene where Max and Dani (along with Allison) find their parents while they are attending the Town Hall Halloween Party. Only the outside is featured in the movie, NOT the inside as the inside was filmed in a studio.

I watched part of the Cry Innocence Witch Trial in the building. It was an interesting site to see and knowing that the actual trials took place in the building made it a historic site worth seeing.
