Salem is either loud and commercial (most of it) or somber. This is definately on the cheesy fun side.

While this statue is controversial to some, the show did a number of episodes where Darren and Sam time travel back to the Salem Witch Trials. After the episodes aired, tourism increased exponentially in Salem. I don't consider the statue a "stop," it's centrally located...More

If near it, OK to make the extra few steps. Now that you spent 5-10 mins to get there, spend the 2 mins seeing it, take a picture and move on.

This statue panders to the "witch" wannabes in Salem. Salem with its maritime history has so much more to offer than witches. This statue should be among those being torn down.

So interesting to think of the history and the culture around this area. Be careful in the street!!!

This statue sets the tone of the visit to Salem as it's one of the first thing you see when you enter the town. This was put there by TV Land as a way to memorialize the show Bewitched. Must take a picture with it.

Very nice accessible monument lots of people getting photos, and climbing all over it. several walking tours stop by the monument. good detail in the sculpture and a nice little blurb on the plaque. very small square with just a few chairs ringed by restaurants.
