Had a great walking tour- even despite the rain. Lots of great information that we (even as Salem residents) didn't know before. Guide was great with questions and steered the information he gave us around the questions we were asking. We'd definitely bring our out-of-town...More

NOT a ghost tour!! It's a historical tour on early Salem and the development of New England and the people who lived then. The tour guide is informative, interesting and wont derail when you asked him questions. He's very knowledgeable about all kinds of subjects....More

I thought that the tour guide was knowledgeable but seemed to veer off on various topics which may it challenging to follow the history lesson. It also would have been great if he had a bit more energy and expression. I see all the positive...More

Thank you! It was great to meet you! Hopefully you enjoy the books Sub Rosa and Salem Secret Underground! After reading them you will learn about all the dirt you can dig up on Salem and how they have shaped our nation. Cheers, Chris

I thought that this tour would be different from all of the other tours and teach us awesome things about underground tunnels, and why the game is called the clue. Instead, I felt like this was one long history lesson that I didn't want to...More

This was by far the most boring tour I've gone on in Salem. There are a few interesting parts about the history but all you do is walk around the Commons and talk about the houses in that area and tunnels underneath Salem.

I enjoyed hearing the stories about old Salem and the underground tunnels. The guide was very knowledgeable on many subjects and stories. My family enjoyed it overall. It was a little too long for a six year old boy, but still good.

We were excited to see some underground tunnels. However, after waiting for and having to call our tour guide - we were disappointed to not get underground. There was a lot of information shared on the city which was nice, but it was a little...More

Children under 16 might get bored with all of the history. We do have a Youth fee of $10 for those over 14. Children under 14 are free. We do take $8 off the regular adult price for Youth ticket purchases.
