Check out the area!
Oct 2021
Boat tours go from here and there are also some GREAT seafood restaurants and gift shops there. The gift shops are kind of hidden so not crowded.

Peaceful Views
Aug 2021
I loved sitting at the wharf and looking at the Friendship of Salem replica. I could've sat there all day with my coffee!

Take the Ferry Back to Boston Harbor from Salem
Jun 2021
I "ubered' over to Salem and then (though unplanned) took the ferry back to Boston harbor.(and hour ride with narration as an excellent way to understand the early history of Boston and its harbor. Remember to tip the narrator, Bill is knowledgeable and colorful and the ride is much more entertaining because of the narration

beautiful walk
Sep 2020
after dinner, this is a wonderful place to walk and wonder. loved the chairs by the water to take everything in. i do wish they would make the walk to the lighthouse a little more inviting. its very beat up, and hard walking. but it is beautiful

Quiet in Winter
Feb 2020
Pretty quiet in winter and the tall ship has its masts removed for repair. I can see how it would be a lovely spot in summer on a nice day. Views of the water, the historic site, etc. But just average in winter with very little on the go or open.

Nice area!
Nov 2019 • Couples
The warf is a nice place to walk and take in the sites. The Maritime Historic site is here, along with shops and restaurants. It's a nice area on the water. It's also a nice escape from the hustle and bustle on Essex St. It's also not far from the House of the Seven Gables. Definitely a place to stop either on your way to/from the house.

So-So
Nov 2019
Nothing special. Nice place to walk by the water and some nice places to eat if you want to spend the money. Some cute shops to browse. Not as crowded as the heart of Salem on Essex street but still crowded....especially during the month of October

Under construction
Nov 2019 • Couples
It is the end of the season, get that. But it has such an under construction feel to it. It was an ok walk, with an ok view. We just left all the Maine harbors, so it just does not compare to those. It was a safe area, appreciate that! Stores were cute!

A nice little area
Oct 2019 • Couples
Visited again today after not having gone there for a couple years. I still enjoy the wharf and it's quaint feel. Such friendly people.

Just beautiful!
Oct 2019
There is a park to walk dogs by the water and the wharf is so picturesque. Just beautiful, no matter what the weather. Wear good walking shoes.
