“Great indie bookstore ”

I loved this place. I always try to visit a good, local bookstore. This one is just adorable. So many fun things. Yes it is small and can be crowded. But it's not meant to be a mega bookstore. I bought a few Salem themed coloring books. Support local independent bookstores!

“Quirky Bookstore”

This is a very crowded bookstore in the heart of downtown Salem. It is so overcrowded that leisurely browsing is difficult. This is not a place that causes me to regret the rise of Amazon.

Charming experience

My boyfriend grew up in Salem and has been raving about this place for a while. We made the trip up from DC to visit family and stopped in. This place is FULL of books! Some are old, some are new, and while it isn't super organized, the man working here knows how to find specific titles for you.

This is not a bookstore for families, but if you love books than you have to stop by and take a look. If you find a book in the stacks, rest assured they can retrieve it for you. It's like a book store that is in a book, you can't believe it, but your glad you had the experience.

So Cool!

This bookstore is like nothing I've seen before. A great experience. It's a small, "cozy" (crammed) bookstore with a ton of great deals on books. The books are stacked nearly to the ceiling. It's very cool. Go see it if you're in Salem!
