We hopped on the trolley in the middle of town after buying our tickets, unfortunately, they give very little information about catching the connecting trolley. We only made it around the first half of the tour and kept getting left behind due to trolleys being too full or they just didn't stop to pick us up. We ended up having... More

This is definitely the best way to travel around Salem. Once you arrive there, find the trolley and start moving around. The tour guide explains details about Salem history during the ride. You may hop on and off wherever you want. I recommend you complete the ride and then decide which places you want to visit. We went there during... More

This was a good way to see part of the city and learn some of the history. After taking the trolley, we decided to visit the Gables house. We also visited the Fort Pickering ruins. The guide tried to be entertaining, but he struggled to connect with the passengers

I went on the trolley during my first day on a short trip to Salem. It is ideal to do on the first day as it helps you see the layout of the city and see where all the key attractions are. The guide on the trolley was full of fun facts.

We learned so much on this trolley ride! and you can get off and jump back on when the next one comes around. I think this was around an hour or so.

I have visited Salem often. At least once a year we ride the trolley tour. I love hearing the history of Salem and most guides are funny as well.

This is great I can see the town and all the points of interest. Not that any of this as much time as you want and then hop back on the trolley and go to the next point of Interest. The guides on the trolley are interesting and entertaining.

Great insight into Salem. John a great host - very informative. Not too busy but that was great. Loved winter island. This is a great introduction to Salem - recommend taking the tour and then working out where you want to go after that.

Your experience on the trolley definitely depends on who your guide is. Our first time on the trolly we unfortunately got a young boy who preferred to talk about himself more than the history of Salem. We could not get off the trolley fast enough!!! Fortunately you can get on and off all day for free, so we decided to... More
