Do not utilize this tour if you are looking for ghost stories or to be scared. It's more of a factual tour on the history of Salem with a little ghost stories sprinkled in. Tour guide, Kevin was a good guide with a quirky sense of humor and is well versed in the history of Salem.

We went on the Ghost version of the Salem Night Tour and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. It wasn't a cheesy, theatrical sort of ghost tour. It was firmly planted in the morbid history of the town. Our guide, Aaron, did a fantastic job of honoring the town's history and being a captivating storyteller. I appreciated that... More

Our tour guide Kevin was a very good story teller. He told several really good stories that gave you an understanding of the history and the culture of the times.

Salem by day is like any other city with a cult following. Little occult stores, people in costume, etc. The Salem Night Tour was a great way to experience the city for it's historical significance in America. We walked through town, stopping a places of significance. Courtney, our tour guide, was animated and passionate about the city and its history.... More

I loved so many things about this tour. We had an exceptionally knowledgeable guide (I think his name was Kevin but I called him Gandolf). The tour guide wears a headset and carries a small speaker so everyone in the group can clearly hear. The tour lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and covers several key areas in a small... More

My husband and I did this tour at 21:30 hrs on 21/10/16 with Jeff, our superb guide for the night. Bless him, despite the rain, he kept going and made sure everyone stayed as dry as he could, seeking shelter and offering space beneath his umbrella. As visitors from the uk, we learnt a lot about Salem and its history... More

My husband and I go on tours regularly when traveling. We prefer history tours to haunt tours so we were pleased that this tour had a lot of historical facts about the witch trials and the city. Although these facts can be rather upsetting, it was very interesting to hear about the city, its stories, and its past. Our guide... More

With so many tours to choose from and the most popular season for Salem upon us we chose by availability. We were concerned that we chose wrong when we arrived 30 minutes early as required and were barked at by the woman manning the ticket table. Nevertheless, we waited in line- listening to her berate each new arrival- until our... More

Booked a night tour with friends as we wanted to learn more about the history of Salem during our visit this fall What an incredible disappointment! The tour guide was more interested in telling us his history in Salem with inside jokes that were not humorous. I hoped for a brief history of the witch trials, but his stories jumped... More

It you're looking for a typical ghost tour and/or general historical nighttime walk throughout Salem, Salem Night Tours will provide that just fine. I attended the walk during mid-October, so it wouldn't be fair to discuss crowd size and it won't influence my rating. Unlike some other walks in town, this isn't specifically tailored to learning about hauntings or the... More
