Our first time at this gorgeous course. Beautiful woods surround rolling hills and a challenging course Our cart was great.

Maybe I'm a little golf-snobbish, but I'm a good golfer and I generally consider 9-hole tracks to be inferior. I stand corrected! The St. Croix Falls Golf Course could not have been more fun, more beautiful, more challenging, or in better condition. I was absolutely amazed! Rolling hills, mature trees, and absolutely pristine greens will make you very happy you chose to play here. Bring lots of sunscreen as the carts don't have covers, but you don't have to bring lots of money. This is one of the most inexpensive golf courses in America. One last note: the 9th hole here is one that if you par, you should congratulate yourself. It requires a 240-yard drive, threaded precisely between two trees with a 15-20 yard gap. And then it must land (again, precisely) in an area about 40 yards square and over half of that area is sloped. Follow that with an uphill approach shot that if you miss the green long and right you'll probably be paying for a window in the pro shop. Good luck!

Played 18 holes here (second nine is half price). Pretty course with rolling hills. A number of the holes have elevated greens. Not much water, wider fairways but still requires good shot making. Seemed pretty easy to get on without a tee time (we played on Saturday about 1:00 and walked right on).

Visiting Family nearby and went out on a late Sunday afternoon to shoot 9. Only one other party on the course ahead of us. Tees and fairways were plush green and nicely laid out. Greens were running true. Overall had lots of relaxing fun until the seventh hole when a thunderstorm came up so we scampered back to the clubhouse. Got wet on the way back as the carts had no top! Overall good experience and wish to come back when we can shoot a full 18.
