Very interesting gallery in downtown Tucson - we stopped before going for dinner, and loved it. Great photos on the walls, and friendly staff.

When I was growing up in Tucson in the 1980s downtown was a place you did not want to be. The core was dilapidated and vacant. Maybe you were ditching class and eating potato skins with all the city workers at the Mexican/Irish restaurant Carlos...More

Tucked away next to Downtown Kitchen, right by the Post Office, is this old, two story building that houses an eclectic collection of revolving artists and exhibits. The building itself is a work of art, and the rooms hold photos by a vast array of...More

One of the most impressive photographic collections I've seen. They had a Danny Lyons exhibition when I was there. I highly recommend a visit to this gallery. It's downtown and right next to numerous restaurants.

Etherton Gallery has consistently--well, when I've been there--displayed some fantastic photographers. I've only been there when there have been photographic exhibitions, but I believe they do other art as well. They also have a collection I think that spans the last century and this. The...More

As an amateur photographer I always admired Adams. But it took going here and seeing the pictures in silver nitrate to make me realize just how spectacular his photographs are. The museum has a large number of his pictures on display and rotates the exhibition.

We went to see an exhibit at the gallery. The web site does not mention that it is on the 2nd floor. No elevator. My 86 y.o. friend was disappointed. He could not manage the steep flight of stairs.More

So sorry about the stairs. We are tenants in the building, not owners. Our landlords are currently looking into installing an elevator next summer. We have no control over this. We are happy to assist anyone who needs assistance on the stairs. Thank you for...More

The current exhibit with some of best images of the XX century is one the better ones I've ever seen, in the past 50 years. If you're a B+W enthusiast, this is *not* to miss!
