El Nacimiento is one of the most beautiful nativity scenes I have seen in my life. I have never seen something so extravagant. Two rooms of La Casa Cordova are believed to have been built before the 1854 Gadsden Purchase. An addition of four rooms occurred in 1879. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is named for Maria Navarette Cordova whose family acquired the house in 1896. Playing catch up on reviews...Spent the day here during Taste of Tucson (I believe that was the title). Beautiful public grounds, I could have spent more time here. There was excitement everywhere, the best 'Taste of' festival I've attended to date. This was more than a taste of the food, it was a taste of Tucson. I hope to return... More
