Recently attended a performance of a Taiko (Japanese drumming) performance by the "17 Samurai". Obviously, we didn't have the occasion to evaluate the acoustics for voice projection quality, but we had no issues with the performance being too loud or not loud enough. The seating...More

Went to the theater to see the 17 Samurai Show. Had tickets for row 14, center stage. The inside has been nicely restored and fun to observe. The sound was good and not overwhelming like so many musical shows. The drums did definitely vibrate the...More

We are always happy coming to the Fox Theater, as it just seems to take you back to the times, when there were many such beautifully detailed movie houses. As we sit in the Loge area (upstairs) we spend our time looking at the ceiling...More

I've been going to this Downtown theatre since it reopened in 2006 after being closed for 32 years. It took a community-wide effort to restore the dilapidated building to its 1930 look. As an architecture buff, I especially like the Southwestern Art Deco ambiance, which...More

I have played here 3 times, and watch concerts too. Very nice remodeled theater with great acoustics. You will love attending any concert here.

I went to see Lila Downs at Fox Theater and the way the music is enhanced by the place is just amazing. I loved the music and I have been there before to see George and the destroyers. I will continue to attend venues there.

Restored to its 1930's Art Deco form. There are about 1200 comfortable seats. All seats have good views. Alcoholic beverages served in the lobby can be taken into the theater area. Downtown Tucson is on the rise with many new restaurants and a modern streetcar....More
