As of January 2018 the courthouse is undergoing major renovations. The impressive dome is still visible, but most of the site is blocked by fencing and scaffolds.

As we were on the outskirts of Tucson this silver dome appears and we wondered what it was. As we approach it we are still unsure of what it is. Is it a church? No, there’s a statue on the roof of a person holding...More

Best moment of my life. We took beautiful pictures by the fountain...after 13 years it's still just as beautiful as we remembered....

There are scaffolds around the dome and the entire building is fenced in. Just check before you go. It is located in an area of older Tucson.

This was part of the turquoise tour, and unfortunately it appeared there was a lot of work going on so we did not go in. It is the most beautiful building we saw in Tucson

Amazing architecture in beautiful Tucson, AZ that I love. It's a must see if you have the time. Walk around. The whole area is loaded with beautiful buildings, old and new.

Stopped by to take some pictures of the couple after my friends were hitched in the County Public Service Center. This is a gorgeous building with nice courtyard around and lovely Tucson cacti to enjoy.

When asked to describe Downtown Tucson, I first mention this stunning pink Spanish Colonial building with a mosaic dome. The structure has Moorish arches, a courtyard at the rear and is a real standout amid the standard urban architecture. The original presidio's east wall is...More

The old courtroom is where Dillinger (1934) & Loughner (2007) were seen. It is unlike any courtroom in the city. You can get a tour- ask security & they can take you to Judge Castillo's courtroom. If you are lucky they can take you up...More

I'm not sure. We were there in late April 2017 and there were scaffolds around it. I'd call the Tucson Historical society or the Chamber of Commerce or some other organization to check. Kent
