This is definitely a good fair. I've gone for the rides and I've participated in the FFA programs in school that eventually brought me to competitions. The rides are great, there... read more

We went to hear the band LoCash at our local Fairgrounds. Of course the food and rides are great, but the music was amazing! It was the first time seeing Locash in concert. There was a huge crowd (they should have been placed on the bigger stage). They even took pictures with their fans. It was an amazing time and... More

This fair is huge and yet it feels small and comfortable when your walking around enjoying yourself. They have many large buildings with commercial and mom and pop booths. All interesting and huge variety of items and prices. Then we went into the Arts building. This was everything from young kids to advanced artists showing their talents. Many items were... More

We went to the Fairgrounds as part of the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. It seemed nice and we enjoyed walking around.

This is definitely a good fair. I've gone for the rides and I've participated in the FFA programs in school that eventually brought me to competitions. The rides are great, there are usually great attractions like well-known bands and/or "freakshows" where people with strange talents perform for the crowds.

Visited the Pima County Fair this year for the first time in many years. Pretty much the same "fair atmosphere" that was always there. Enjoyed the booths in the buildings - skipped the rides, but the grandkids rode many of them. The place was packed even for a week day evening. Skip the food - eat before you go! Did... More

Our daughter is a singer/songwriter and has had many shows at various county/state fairs. We were so impressed by the incredible cleanliness, paved walkways and the staff that we met there. After her shows we walked around as "fair goers" to experience the whole thing. We LOVED it. We talked with many people after her shows and they all had... More

I always like going to the fair. However, I am not there for the rides unless my grandson is with me. What I enjoy most are the animals that people raise and train. There are also concerts given with the price of admission that is a great value. Be sure not to miss the steam engine section when they are... More

We have been coming to the fairgrounds for almost a decade. Each winter we come here for at least a week because the weekly fee for full hookups is only $100.00. But there is a reason for the cheap rate most of the electric is 30 amps and campers have had problems with faulty sockets. They are in the process... More

The Pima County Fair is a great place for the family. They had a rodeo, which was a great free and exciting experience until the announcer said during the bull riding "I wonder if we could put that rope around Obama's neck to get him out of office". I thought that was real tacky especially when there were tons of... More

No mention of the fact that this venue has a nice gun range, it's probably politically incorrect to post huh? Only $8 for a lane and they have plenty so you rarely wait. Rangers are friendly and experienced. Saw people shooting pistols, rifles, shotguns, slingshots and bow.
