What a fun evening, live music, lots of laughs, by actors who seem to be enjoying themselves. Evey table seems to be a great one in an itimate setting. Food, drinks, at reasonable price brought to your table.

Highly recomended. Get your tickets early, as it sells out

While traveling to see friends in Tucson, they suggested that we visit The Gaslight Theatre. It sounded a bit hokey, but we agreed to go. The show was fantastic and the food served was very good and reasonably priced.

What a great little theater! We went on a Monday night( music night) and saw the Manhattan Dolls in an Andrews Sisters like performance. But they also have plays/musicals at this theater as well.

First, the Manhattan Dolls are great. The show had so many WWII era songs, but from other eras as well. And many patriotic songs. It was so much fun to hear this music which I haven’t heard in so long.

And, the theater is fantastic. There are tables (for 2 or 4) so you can have dinner (if you want……not required). We opted to sit in the balcony and were not disappointed. The view of the stage (and the whole theater) was great up there. But, it looked like there wasn’t a bad seat in the house.

We opted for dessert (no dinner). Food comes from the next door Anthony’s Diner (50s style) and everything we saw people eating looked great. Out desserts were huge and delicious. Our waitress (all the staff really) were friendly and just outstanding in every way.

If we are ever in Tucson again, we will definitely be sure to check out a show here again!

Also, they have a sister venue called the Gaslight Music Hall in the north part of town that I would like to check out sometime.

The Gaslight melodram/muscial theatre is wonderful for people of all ages. The live music fits perfectly with great local acting. With service of food and drink at your table, come hungery and thirsy.

I recommend seating about mid-way on the groud level to hear and see well. Find a seat to the right (look at stage) to be closer to the exit if you like that.

Come a few minutes early to take photos with the kids.

We very much enjoyed showdown in Tucson. It is very well staged and the audience learns the key lines and can shout them out with the actors. Of course it is a little corny but we all had big smiles on our faces. You are seated at small tables (it’s popular) so go with thin friends or at least ones you don’t mind sitting close to. The popcorn is free and they keep bringing more! Folks with birthdays get a free ice cream cone and the pianist is remarkably accomplished- really holds the musical production together and the solos are amazing. An excellent and affordable night out.

We visit Tucson every year for a break from the rainy Pacific Northwest. We have tried on a number of occasions to get tickets to The Gaslight Theater. Our inability to get admittance, certainly bears out what a quality presentation it is, and why it is so highly desirable. The Gaslight theater transports us back in time to a type of live presentation that no longer exists. It is fun and light but presented by musicians and actors that are top notch. Though the days of Vaudeville were well before my time, from what I've heard of that type of theater, this hearkens back very much to genre. The show is a parody of a program about the old west, filled with silly jokes, double entendres, dancing, singing, colorful costumes and characters, and genuine fun. If you had a hard day or a challenging week, The Gaslight is the best place to go to put your troubles behind you and experience a good harmless belly laugh. It is well worth the $20 per ticket price. You'll come out with a priceless amount of joy and a skip in your step. When in Tucson don't miss this couple hours of genuine harmless slapstick entertainment! You won''t be sorry!

Or so says the 11 yr old son. We attended the "Showdown on Tucson". The jokes were corny, the actors were awesome and we haven't laughed that hard in a while. From the sing along to start the show to the final curtain we were entertained and enjoyed every minute. We'll be back next time we're in Tuscon! Thanks for providing a funny show that our family could.enjoy together.

I have been to several shows at the Gaslight Theater and I have never been disappointed. The shows are light and fun, the actors and actresses are clearly having fun. The wait staff is polite and attentice. I don't think there is a bad seat although I haven't tried them all...yet. After teh show, teh cast lines up at the exit and thanks you for enjoying their show. this place is great for family and friends. I go to every show, every chance I get.

The theatre itself was great. We saw a live band and enjoyed the experience.
Our only negative was the upstairs seating, it needs sorting for visibility reasons. If you’re sat on the sides of the balcony, the view is not great, but like I said to my hubby, I’ve come to listen, not see.
I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat however, the service seemed awesome and quick and the food did smell great too.
If you are in the area, absolutely go and see something there but grab seating downstairs if you can, or on the ends or back of the balcony. We will go again when we are in the area again.
Don’t let this review put you off, it’s well worth a fun night out and the sound in there is great.

Had the great opportunity to attend this dinner theatre and see the play Showdown in Tucson....wonderful local actors. Fun props and audience participation like an old vaudeville type play. This is a very entertaining and fun local theatre. This is a must visit if in Tucson. Not to be missed. Great for all ages.
