We stayed here for a week and only played here once as it was a little pricey if you don't want to pay a lot for golf. We booked on golfnow and it was a definite stop for any avid golfer.

This course is a beautiful desert golf course with 27 holes. Every hole is set up very nicely with fantastic vistas and plenty of challenges. As with most desert courses, you go off of the fairway, you are definitely in trouble. I started off on the Rattler front nine and it lived up to its name, some fairways seem so... More

Our day started out auspiciously, when, while we were on the practice range, a coyote sat a few hundred yards away, head up, yipping and howling, in that classic pose. The rest of the day didn't disappoint. We played Rattler to Roadrunner. Beautiful desert scenery, very fun. There were many carries over desert "arroyos". Fairways were in very good condition,... Played Rattler to Roadrunner and as always had a good time. Some blind shots but all in all a fun course to play. The course was in tip top shape as always. When in Tucson this course is a must play.

My wife and I spend Thanksgiving week at the Starr Pass Golf Suites adjacent to the golf resort. Our room was a timeshare through Shell Vacation Club and was an excellent choice. Our room was dated but excellently maintained. The outdoor pool was heated and the hot tub was hot. There are a lot of trails and roads for hikers.... More

Not my cup of tea! We went to a conference there and were invited to a dinner. The food was horrible. Onion rings were gourmet style but burned! No one in that kitchen should ever attempt to make polenta ever again. Resembled lumpy malto Meal. The chicken was dry and the beef was tough! It appeared that the food was... More

Great layout of all 3 nines. Played a combination of all three and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Course was in excellent shape. Greens were clean and soft, fairways were perfect. All in all it was a great play for the three days we played. A very friendly but challenging layout. Staff in the pro shop were a little stuffy but... More

Loved playing all three courses ~ even the "classic" course. The courses can be challenging but are really a lot of fun. I have to say that the "staff" in the pro shop were not particularly nice or friendly but the starter was great! He was fun and made us feel welcome and happy to be playing at Starr Pass.... More

Played the Roadrunner / Coyote 9 hole layouts. The 18 hole combination seems to change every time I play this course. The course design is unique and beautiful. Although visually challenging, the course plays fair IF you can play each shot strategically. That means executing "course management" on every shot. Roadrunner course (played in the morning) was overwatered and had... More

The course is an Arnold Palmer designed course which winds its way around the Marriott Starr Pass resort and some beautiful private homes. It is 3 9-hole courses and the fee you pay is good for all day so if you have the time you can play all three. The courses themselves have many blind spots and the booklet they... More
