We enjoyed the area for hiking, but the trail signs were not east to follow. There is supposed to be petroglyphs down the big wash.

To begin with for some reason I do not understand the address on the TA site is dead WRONG. The actual address is 13880 N Rancho Vistoso Blvd. As noted elsewhere the signage at this park is beyond useless. So here are a couple of...More

This review is based on one trail, the one to the petroglyphs. In talking to the workers at the Ramada there are actually 3 or 4 trails that you can go on from this take off point. If your purpose is to see the petroglyphs,...More

It's a beautiful walk right in the heart of Rancho Vistoso. Follow the trail north under the bridge. Follow the wash about 1.5 miles up to the petroglyphs on the left of the trail. If you get up to the flat open area you have...More

Near the entrance to this trail there is a nice bathroom and picnic area. Only saw another hiker while doing this walk. Very nice trail along a wash with interesting rock walls on either side. Very nice examples of cacti like saguaros growing out of...More

This was a lovely trail out through state lands facing the Santa Catalina mountain range. The mountain biking was not too technical or strenuous. We stopped at the only hill around to take in the elevated view and stop for lunch. It was then that...More

This is a fun little ride, about 15 miles if you do the entire loop. Great way to get in a good spin without too much technical riding. Crappy landowners are trying hard to cut off the access road to state land, but you can...More

We were staying very close by and got a quick snapshot of what to look for from the front desk. We ended up asking a couple coming from the other direction if we were near the petroglyphs. A couple asked us the same question on...More
