This is great little museum. There is something for everyone. The exhibits are placed by category and is very easy to get around. They have special pricing on Thursday as well as senior and military. Very good way to spend an afternoon.

What a treasure! Unique, lovely, a combination of history lesson and exquisite art, plus some campiness on the side, this is a must-visit in Tucson.

Picked this out of the AAA tour book and am glad we did. Took the family and grandkids while on vacation in Tucson. There are hundreds of miniature features in this museum. Most are reductions of rooms in houses, period pieces, and various themes such as Christmas, Halloween, etc. There are videos showing how miniatures are made. It is truly... More

Might seem off the beaten path and not in keeping with what Tucson is all about, but SO worth the drive to the NW side of the city. Not only do they have a bunch of Department 57 pre-made miniature items, but also home made , historic, and traditional miniatures, doll houses, some things from many years ago. Very cool

The museum offer a very large diversified collections of miniatures and offers electronic tours. The detail of the exhibits is amazing and reflects an impressive commitment by the artists to produce such fine work.

Wow. I got more bang for my buck than I expected. There are hundreds of exhibits of miniature furnished houses. Peering into each room was like walking back in time. You will not believe the incredible detail of each setting. The artists spared nothing in recreating the era each depicted. I thought I would only spend about an hour. NOT!... More

Incredible miniature replicas of different time periods throughout history. Also some with themes dipicting holidays. They are all extremely detailed and I found myself staring at one for half an hour! Lots of kids were around and really seemed to be enjoying them!
