My friend and I were expecting to spend an hour or so at this museum. Two hours into our visit, we realized we were only about two-thirds through the collection! Ranging from new items to dollhouses and miniatures from the 18th century, there are things to delight your eye and imagination at every turn. The detail and accuracy of many... More

Try not to go to the Desert Museum in the day time, way too hot, but very interesting. Do the Second Saturday of the month down town, it's a big street festival.

We were not sure what to expect when we got there it was so much more. Absolutely gorgeous miniatures with incredable artistry. It was well worth the time. We can't wait to go back again and could have spent all day there. Don't miss it!

So many of our friends said, "You need to see this!", but it wasn't until we had friends visit who were having problems walking too far that we finally went. What a great surprise, this museum of miniatures is fascinating. There are also short films that illustrate how much work goes into each piece. Young kids will be entertained also.... More

WOW. This place far exceeded our expectations. Some friends of ours had told us about this place so we took a chance. What luck. This is not your grandmother's collection of old doll houses, this is a superb collection of miniatures. We looked around and then took the tour which we highly recommend. The first room you enter is circular... More

We have been to the museum twice, each time with our grandson(s), and it is fascinating. In addition to the abundance of miniatures, the information available is very interesting. I would definitely recommend it, but not for children under 10. We spent a couple of hours there and found it very enjoyable
