Whether you’re a gardener or not, you will enjoy Tohono Chul. It’s a great introduction to southwestern plants, insects, birds and lizards. Take the docent’s tour. Have a delicious lunch at the Bistro. Enjoy shopping in the three shops and greenhouse.

Breakfast was very good! Took an hour atroll after through wonderful grounds, although we could have used more signage and explanation. Loved the buildings, gift shops, and gallery.

This is a nice activity for a short visit of maybe an hour or so. Walk through the winding garden trails to view cacti, wildflowers and other desert plants.

Wonderful assortment of native plants. Lots of well marked trails, easy to navigate with a stroller. Remember to get a ‘boat’ at the ticket window to float in the Children’s Garden. The Bistro serves delicious food!

Beautiful gardens, lots of wildlife, spent a couple hours walking around the grounds and trails. There were lots of tour guides and volunteers around to tell you all about the place.

Thank you for contacting us. If you were to take one of our tours it can take up to 45 minutes, but if you decide to go it alone it can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Does that help?
