Tohono Chul Park is a charming oasis in northern Tucson. In addition to beautiful, peaceful grounds it has a wonderful little restaurant for breakfast and lunch, a gift shop, and an exhibit gallery. It is a mini-oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plan an hour or two after breakfast or lunch.

This is a wonderful place especially during the holiday season with all the lights in the cactus. During the holiday season they also have wonderful entertainment especially Domingo DeGrazia on classical guitar.

A botanical garden surrounded by the city of Tucson. Meandering paths lead you through the well marked landscape of the Sonoran Desert. Outdoor and indoor exhibits, beautiful views of the Catalina Mountains, a bistro. this is a must see!

There are more fascinating cacti and succulents to view in the part, and to purchase in the greenhouse. Tohono Chul regularly... More

Have been there several times. Visits included taking grand daughter. We all enjoyed the visit. Great place to take out of town guests. A pleasure for locals and out of towners.

We toured the gardens before breakfast and actually was able to see the male tortoises out and about. Lovely gardens and friendly staff both in the bistro and out in the garden.

We arrived here early to beat the heat of mid-day, and we were glad we did. The displays here are well done and include many Saguaro Cacti. You will find many types of birds and plants native to the area. Some of the areas are shaded, but not all. You can easily spend a couple of hours here. Many like... More
