A bully good historic attraction, not to be missed: the home of Theodore Roosevelt from 1902 to 1906, considered the "Summer White House," a beautiful 23-room Victorian mansion estate that also includes a 37-acre National Environmental Study Area of forest, tidal salt marsh and bay beach.

We hadn't been to Sagamore Hill in a number of years. It has been completely renovated. The tours are wonderful, and the grounds are lovely to walk around. There is a nice picnic area if you want to bring lunch and enjoy the views.

I ordered my tickets online in advance. I recommend you do this as each tour is limited to just a few people due to small areas.
