The candy is made on the premises and you may take a tour if you like. The Neehams are a Maine specialty and a must to try. There is also, inexpensive but nice jewelry. A room devoted to import items from Peru, which are of high quality. It is worth a visit. Trust me!

Absolutely delicious chocolates. We were riding past and decided to stop. Great selection of very high quality chocolates. Easily as good as Godiva.

I gave it 5 stats however, this business could be improved by cutting back on the pressure sales. It doesn't take rocket science to know that a customer who comes here is likely going to buy. There was a nice young lady who was helping us but at points she got to be downright pushy - almost as if she... More

The caliber of the chocolates, all made on the premises, is incredible! You're offered samples upon arrival and can try different possibilities. Especially if you're unsure of something. Monica is a delight as are any of her staff you come upon. I was buying some gifts when I last visited and was able to get sugar free chocolate without nuts.... More

This is a chocolate lovers paradise. Exquisite chocolates. Beautiful presentation. Many varieties. We also purchased hot chocolate that rivaled my favorite Parisian shop. Monica's also sells some local products, some beautiful imported sweaters and other clothes and jewelry but the chocolate is the starz here. Very pricey and worth it!

Over the years, the fortunes of the tiny Maine fishing village of Lubec, Maine, have come and gone, come and gone. Businesses full of hope one day, are gone the next season. Go there in late fall, or in the winter, and find nary any place but the local grocer and Monica's open. Why is this chocolate shop open year... More

Monica the owner was very personable and made good suggestions for what we might like. Excellent packing provided since we are only halfway into our trip. Samples were wonderful, too.

We were lucky enough to try a couple samples and meet the owner, who was very helpful. Of course we HAD to bring home some of her goodies. The truffles are a little bite of heaven...chocolatey goodness! She also has some nice costume jewelry and clothing items from Peru. Well worth a stop!

This shop has a little bit of everything. Candy, jewelry, alpaca clothing and local sea salt and mustard. Monica makes the chocolates right on premises and there are none better. It is a great start in a little out of the way area.

The chocolates are fresh and delicious. If you're lucky, you'll get a little time to talk with the owner and see how the chocolates are made. My personal favorite: the blueberry truffles.
