I loved this tour! Bradly is a very good guide. The tour was about H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, and Sarah Helen Whitman. He also included a little aside about Sissieretta Jones. Bradly walked us to some actual houses that Lovecraft used in his stories and to the places where Poe attempted to court Whitman. It was very interesting and informative. I highly recommend going on a tour with the Providence Tour Company.

Had an amazing tour of this fascinating & beautiful city with Bradley. He designed a special tour just for our group (we’re hikers) because we wanted something longer than his typical tours. We walked for approximately 8 miles & were delighted by all that we saw & learned! I highly recommend taking a tour with Providence Tour Company.

I went on the Providence by the Book tour, led by Sarah. She did a great job showing us around. Most of all, she has such a great enthusiasm for everything about the city. I found the whole tour informative and charming. Highly recommended!

Abby, our knowledgeable guide, led us through downtown Providence streets bubbling with enthusiasm along the way. We headed from the Convention Center toward the State House, East Side and PPAC where she pointed out architectural features and significant historical importance of Providence landmarks. Our 1 1/2 hour tour continued through the city as she pointed out college settings, front row seats by WaterFire braziers, and we worked our way down Westminster Street--passing shops and restaurants along the way. The walk was pleasant and a great review of what makes Providence a great place to visit.

Bradley's enthusiasm for Providence is contagious! We learned so much from the tour, and had a really fun time doing it. He was smiling the entire time, and knew so much about the history, culture, and lifestyle in Providence. He made time for us off-season and tailored the tour to our specific areas of interest. Make sure to ask him about Buddy Cianci and the fire log :) Such a fun way to spend the morning!

We were booked for a Saturday tour, but the guide was sick. We were notified that the tour had been cancelled well before we had left our hotel. We were offered a refund or to reschedule it for Sunday at 1230. We had a glass blowing class at 2, so the timing did not work out. Jeremy, the Sunday tour guide, offered to give the tour at 10 am. We were so glad that we accepted his offer to do the tour early. Jeremy was a wonderful tour guide who pointed out highlights of his native Providence. You will get to see the Capitol, Roger Williams park (loved his story about the statue at Roger Williams Univ), churches, Turk's head building, the arcade and much more. The tour is a wonderful introduction to Providence, and Jeremy kept us engaged. Even though the tour just was Jeremy and us , my husband and I had a lovely time with him. The conversation flowed, and he even gave us great coffee place recommendations. I hope that more specialized tours are offered soon. I would love to see a coffee tour! I will definitely take any future tours with Jeremy! We can't wait to visit Providence again!

Just a friendly reminder about tours in general - Please tip your tour guide. We are always in disbelief the amount of people who do not tip.

4 of us visited Providence for a long weekend and took the Welcome to Providence Walking Tour. Jimbo was a great guide as he was engaging, friendly, and explained things nicely. He was knowledgeable, fun and helpful with tips on restaurant recommendations and other things to do in Providence. The only recommendation I have is to tell folks to meet inside the Graduate hotel and not give the address.

This experience was sooo much fun!!! Cannot say enough about it! Six great places of food and wine and the history of the town is fabulous. Our tour guide was very informative and our group was small so we could enjoy and ask questions. Love love love. Would recommend to all.
