We were booked for a Saturday tour, but the guide was sick. We were notified that the tour had been cancelled well before we had left our hotel. We were offered a refund or to reschedule it for Sunday at 1230. We had a glass blowing class at 2, so the timing did not work out. Jeremy, the Sunday tour guide, offered to give the tour at 10 am. We were so glad that we accepted his offer to do the tour early. Jeremy was a wonderful tour guide who pointed out highlights of his native Providence. You will get to see the Capitol, Roger Williams park (loved his story about the statue at Roger Williams Univ), churches, Turk's head building, the arcade and much more. The tour is a wonderful introduction to Providence, and Jeremy kept us engaged. Even though the tour just was Jeremy and us , my husband and I had a lovely time with him. The conversation flowed, and he even gave us great coffee place recommendations. I hope that more specialized tours are offered soon. I would love to see a coffee tour! I will definitely take any future tours with Jeremy! We can't wait to visit Providence again!
Just a friendly reminder about tours in general - Please tip your tour guide. We are always in disbelief the amount of people who do not tip.
