Phebe and her team take GREAT CARE of their clients. They pick great places to stay, hike, and dine. They check weather. They check trails. They check on you! They are "early founders" of Inn-to-Inn Hiking in North America. They get this on every level. Whether you're doing a quick trip or an extended stay, these are the folks to do it with! My wife and I highly recommend Footpaths of the World!

We were a group of two mom's (referred to on the trail as the "old ladies") and two daughters that took the 6 night, 5 day hike with Footpaths. Everything was well planned and executed each day--the hikes were challenging for the moms and easy for the young women. we loved our accommodations, especially at the Baldpate Inn. it was a bit hard to get pizza at the only spot in Allenspark. we will recommend this trip for anyone interested in Inn to Inn hiking with challenging hikes in-between. I echo the reviewer who talked about the importance of acclimation--its high and its rocky out there!

If you are looking for a covid friendly vacation away from crowds this is perfect. We were nervous with the recent wildfires and snow in the area. Footpaths took care of everything including permits and reservations to enter the national park each day. They modified routes as needed to keep us safe. We had a great time exploring the park each day and enjoying the wonderful lodges each night. We were well fed with the included breakfasts and lunches. Each hike on our 4 day trip was unique with a wide variation of scenery. We would highly recommend if you like to hike but don't want to carry a bunch of gear with you. This is the perfect blend of activity and comfort.

My husband and I returned last week from 4 delightful days in RMNP care of Phebe and Footpaths of the World. What with some fires in the area and then unprecedented snow fall for this time of the year, I wasn't sure what to expect. But Phebe and Tina took fantastic care of us and we ended up having a wonderful time. The snow not only helped with the fires but it made for a lovely and magical experience since it wasn't enough to impact the hiking. See photo taken at the top of one of the passes. The rustic lodges were so comfortable and charming and the inn keepers went out of their way to make us feel at home. We loved the hiking as well. Would definitely recommend to friends and others.

This was the perfect 4 day / 5 night hiking trip. Phebe set it up for my wife and I on one weeks notice. I was amazed at the turn-key experience. We basically just showed up with our backpacks and one carry-on bag each. Phebe or Tina took our lunch order every evening, and the next morning picked us up in a van. They took us to the trailhead and went over the day's route with us. We were supplied with an official RMNP map with the route and options highlighted on it, plus the directions to our inn destination for the evening, and recommended place for dinner. In some cases they made the dinner reservations for us. They also supplied us with the lunch we requested and snacks, and made sure we understood the route, and asked us to let them know when we finished so they'd be sure we made it OK. After each hike, you finish directly at your inn, and your bags are already there waiting for you, sometimes even in your room! You just check in, get a beer, a shower, relax and have dinner. It's so nice to just chill out immediately after hiking a long hard route. The hikes increase in intensity and elevation gain each day (if you add the options). So you work up to the most challenging ones and can decide day by day how much you want to do. We went for the maximum every day except the first day, where we limited the hike to 10 miles. On the last day you do a more relaxed wind-down hike. It was the perfect way to do RMNP, and there is no way to do it like this without that kind of support. The inns were excellent, and we stayed at 3 historic places that were really amazing. Our favorite was the Baldpate Inn. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. Second best was the Allenspark Lodge, with really welcoming and friendly owners as well. The historic Stanley was neat, and the we were very pleased with our rooms at the Blue Door Inn and the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. The hiking was just the right intensity for us. I'd rate the difficulty/endurance level at about 6 to 7 out of 10. If you're not in good shape, I'd definitely recommend you do some training beforehand to get the most out of this. To be sure we'd have no problems with the altitude, we took prescription acetazolamide each day. Thanks so much Phebe and Tina for a perfect trip - you were fantastic!
