I have rented here several times. Calm, safe horses. Rode trails into the Rocky Mountain Park, to views of the continental divide. In December I even went on a horse drawn sleigh ride. I recommend.

My husband and I had a great time on the cowboy steak dinner tour. Our horses were beautiful. The steak dinner was the best we had. Hospitality was also nice.

First let me say that I've only have gone horse back riding a couple of times. This was not the ride for me. My wife used to have a horse and she was a bit uncomfortable as well. I think we stopped once during the ride. Forget about drinking water or taking any pictures because every time you stop your... More

Tired of hiking, we wanted to try something different on our last day in Estes Park. Both my husband and I were first time horse riders, and this was a great ride for that. Our guide, Rachel, was pleasant, professional and experienced. She, along with the rest of the crew at Sombrero, helped us feel safe on the horses. The... More

5 adults and 2 kids. We had the best time. Our trail leader Rachel was wonderful. We rode the 2.5 hour steak dinner trail. Well worth it! The ride and food was excellent. Definitely doing it again!

As first time riders, our guide did an amazing job teaching us how to handle our horse and showing us the ropes. We can't wait to do it again!

Efficiently run by friendly guides. The horses are gentle and well trained. Very easy to ride. The trails offer scenic views of the surrounding countryside and overlooks of the city of Estes Park. We took the 2 hour ride and were thoroughly satisfied.

Our first experience with horseback riding and we really enjoyed it. We had a group of eight with different age ranges and they really took good care of us.

We went horseback riding with Sombrero on the steak and ride. It was a beautiful ride through a private reserve near RMNP. Faith was our guide and was excellent. Her enthusiasm for the ranch and the horses was amazing. She seemed to know all the horses and the story behind them. (I found that amazing-considering I can't remember the name... More
