Such a fun quaint experience! Stumbled across this find and so glad we did. Oldest theater in America. Tickets are only $10 and they have a bar with cheap drinks too! Great opportunity to support a local business that has a positive impact on the...More

This is the oldest operating theater in the united states. Such a special treat. The owners are very kind and answer any questions you have about the theater. A must see when in Estes Park

You can't miss this classic towering building if you drive into town via Hwy. 36. You are right beside it. A family-run business, it anchors the Riverwalk. As I ate @ a Park Theater Cafe' patio table next door, I noted that people glanced &...More

We were really glad we went to the oldest operating theatre in the country, just for the experience. We watched 3 Buster Keaton silent movies, with an amazing piano player. We felt like we had gone back in time. Prepare for simplicity. Don't compare it...More

We watched a movie here and while the movie wasn't as good as expected, the theater was lovely. The was a bit of history shown prior to the movie that was amazing to see. This theater has survived so much. While these may not be...More

This theater is a fabulous piece of living history, but updated with digital technology and sound! It is a real refreshing change from the modern multi-plex. In fact the owner comes in to pass out extra cushions and make suggestions on seating locations. The screen...More

Stopped in here for a bit of history and to look around. The bitter, hateful lady working said "we're operating our business today, so please leave." There is no call for that level of rudeness, and if you don't like tourists, maybe don't do business...More

Go to a movie here and go back in time. It is an original movie one screen theater with mostly original lobby, it like a museum inside. We watch a first run movie with our popcorn. At the beginning of the movie there is a...More

Great sound system and bright projection. The lights remained on throughout, until the theatre went dark at end of credits. Fortunately, we weren't locked in. Seats not very comfortable. Nice to be able to see a first run film on vacation.

We had some extra time while visiting Estes Park, so we spent a few hours seeing a movie here. It's a nice old-fashioned theater with just one screen and oriental carpets on the walls. There are drinks and hot dogs and other snacks, too.
