Our original tour was supposed to be earlier in the week, but after some flight delay issues, Julie was super kind and patient with getting us rescheduled. We’re so glad we were able to reschedule!
Fritz was our tour guide on the last day of our honeymoon in Estes Park. We had a blast! Fritz was funny, knowledgeable, and kept us safe on snowy/icy roads! He made sure we were warm and had the right attire and equipment. We had a great time seeing so many different areas in RMNP and even did a little snowshoe hiking. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Julie and a huge thank you to Fritz!

Saw a lot of Elk and learned about the wildlife in the area. Even though I saw Elk the day before on my own this was still worth doing. Went to areas that I did not and saw one herd and about 4 bull elk's going solo. Also a ton deer. Turkey's.
Very enjoyable and informative. I asked a lot of questions :)

We had the pleasure of visiting Estes Park with our two adult sons in October, at the end of the elk mating season. The trip was wonderful as usual, with many elk sightings, but this time we found Green Jeep Tours, which made the time even more memorable. We so enjoyed our Green jeep 3-hour tour of RMNP! What a luxury to see the park without having to keep your eyes on the road ahead! Our tour guide, Dan, was informative, always available for questions, and very witty. He made the tour even more fun! Highly recommend! Ask for Dan!

We absolutely loved this your. You learn about the history of the Park and also stop at places you may not know about. We seen moose and deer. Sam was a great guide and had answers to all our questions and gave great suggestions. We would do it again in a second, but a different tour they offer.

We recommend this tour! Great way to see the park while someone else does the driving. Our guide was Dan and he was great.
When we left the parking lot it was raining and we thought it would be a bust. Not so.
Dan provided plenty of history about the park and we got some great pics of wildlife on the journey.
The walk around Bear Lake was beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our jeep tour with Zach! Safety is a priority at our age -- and we appreciated Zach's expertise and steady hand as we navigated the Fall River one-way road. In addition, Zach’s knowledge of the area, its history, and the fun connections he made to popular culture and the area made for an entertaining and edifying tour. He was also very accommodating when it came to stopping for photographs -- he selected perfect panoramic viewpoints. When the tour concluded, Zach shared some options for further sight-seeing and dining. From the welcoming staff to driver/guide Zach -- we couldn't have asked for a more fabulous experience! We enthusiastically recommend Green Jeep Tours. Mary & Paul

We just got back from our jeep tour with Zach and took the old Fall River road in the rocky mts and it was amazing! Not only did he make us feel incredibly safe on the ride, but he was so informative about the animals, environment, and history. The tour didn’t stop when we left the park, even when we were in town he provided us with information about restaurants and breweries. Great guide- great excursion would totally recommend!

The driver took corners too fast at 12,000 ft. He also spent time on his phone looking for songs as we went around the switchbacks. I could have done without the music he was trying to get in exchange for a safe drive. He drove too fast for conditions. I might have even thought it was just me, but I happen to be traveling with my sister and her husband who is a race car driver and races on a dirt track. When it makes a race car driver uncomfortable, I think it's bad. He said the tires slipped a couple of times going around those corners. I would not recommend this company.

GJT’s is awesome. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating during several phone calls. We did two tours: the Bear Lake Tour and the Rocky Mountain Safari. Luckily we had Sam for both tours. He is amazing. He knows Estes and this park like the back of his hand. He is very keen on pointing out wildlife and the many scenic places in the park. He kept us safe from some large elk that were crossing our path during a Sprague Lake hike. His tours lasted longer than expected as he strived to show off the elk during mating season and hit their hot spots. The Fall River dirt road on the safari was wonderful. He also gave detailed restaurant reviews! These tours will not disappoint, especially if you get Sam!

This is a must do tour. Falls road is intense and you want an experienced driver. If you get Nick, even better! He takes this seriously and has done his homework and it shows! Thank you so much for a fantastic tour.

Is there enough space in the Jeep for a small, folding wheelchair?

Our jeeps typically accommodate up to 9 people. The easiest option would be to sit in the front passenger seat, as there are three steps leading up to the back of the jeep. Please give us a call and we'd be happy to discuss details! We hope you'll join us on a Rocky Mountain Safari Tour!
Hi, We want to take the rocky mountain experience tour upto alpine visitor center from Estes park. Since we have a 18 months old toddler andits an open jeep just would want to know about the windy and cold conditions while driving through the trail ridge road.

Actually the weather was surprisingly beautiful up there when we went. Down below, in Estes, it had been rainy and dreary. They also provide blankets to cover up with. I would think an 18 month old would be fine as long as he/she isn’t fussy. Hope that helps.
We will be driving through RMNP from Grand Lake the previous day, and then staying in Estes Park. Which tour(s) would you recommend if we've already spent a day on trail ridge road?

You can also do a off road trip into the Roosevelt National forest if you already done the Trail Ridge Road drive.

Is there age limits with each tour? I have a 4 and 6 year old.

Nope, no age limit. We brought our 8 year old and there were 4 and 5 years old on the trip as well.

I want to take the tour in April. Would a morning or afternoon tour be better to see wildlife? Or is there much difference?

Not sure about the mornings because the afternoon is the only one I have taken but we saw quite a bit. Huge groups of elk and several other things. Not to mention the sunset was spectacular.
