Bonus ‘live’ obstacles
Jul 2021 • Family
Don’t mini golf here for the course, do it for the experience. The course itself is run down, not aesthetically pleasing, full of weeds, cracked concrete, non-working obstacles, overused clubs, and dirty holes. We told our group to enjoy the ‘live’ obstacles with the gophers running on the course and over the holes as we played. However, it’s cheap, fun, family time - which is really the point of mini-golf. Not the prettiest course, but all still had a good time.

Too bad new owners are not maintaining this.
Jul 2020 • Friends
Been coming here for years. The long-time prior owner passed away a few years ago and the new owners are really letting it go down hill. No water in the water trap, but standing water on a hole where there wasn't supposed to be. Grass was dead, weeds were thriving. One huge weed was blocking on of the playing surfaces. Sad to see this.

5 stars because I love places like this!
Jun 2019 • Family
If there was a dive bar equivalent for mini golf, this place is it! And that’s not an insult, I love dive bars. It’s old, beat up, stuff doesn’t work, it’s cheap, the staff was super friendly. If you’re fancy or judgemental at all, don’t come here. Leave this place to the cool people who want to have fun and don’t turn their noses up. My son and I loved it! I’m just so happy these places still exist in this corporate owned society. Long live this place! We will be back!

Still the Best!
Aug 2018
We've been coming to Tiny Town for decades and love the "challenge" of this course! The angles, slopes, obstacles, and corners make this course enjoyable. We love that this is not a "Plinko Golf" course- one that you tap your ball and hope that it winds up somewhere near the cup. This course combines a little skill along with the alligator and the windmill to keep it light. If you are looking for reasonable family fun, this is great for all ages!

Might have to agree somewhat with other reviewers concerns about the course, but it's still our go-to course whenever we visit Estes Park.

Been going here for years. 15 years. Our kids cried when they heard the owner passed away. So grateful the trout haven people have keep the tradition alive. They fixed it up a bit and its the exact experiance we have had for years. We went twice rhis visit. Dont miss this estes tradition!!!

Sad changes
Jun 2018 • Couples
I have been coming to Estes Park for over 50 years. It was a tradition when I was a kid to go Tiny Town in the evening. I carried on this tradition with our four children when they were growing up and as adults we continue to do multiple times during our stay. The other evening we arrived at 5:50pm and were told they were closing at 6pm but he would do us a favor by letting us play and we would be the last ones. Are you serious? A vacation destination where this is prime season and they are closing at 6p. We saw numerous families arrive get their kids out of the car only to be turned away. How sad 😞. I feel that now Trout Haven is the new owner it has lost its touch. It saddens me to think after 50 years we will have to find another place to play miniature golf in the evenings.

Just not the same
Jun 2018 • Family
Yes, they replaced the turf, updated the course and increased prices, which is understandable but still very affordable. Definitely no longer has the family feel that it always has before, now that Trout Haven owns it. The strangest, and most irritating change for me was the change of their hours. I have been coming to Tiny Town for 25+ years with my family and we have always played in the evening or at night...along with countless others. We arrived a few days ago at 6 pm, to find that they were closing for the night but were going to do us a “favor” and let us be the last ones in. Through out the time we were there playing (45 mins) we saw a minimum of 7 families turned away because they were closed. Estes Park is a vacation destination. Why in the world, during their peak tourist season would they close at 6 pm?? It’s a shame that they have made these changes for the worse.

Not the same any more
Jun 2018 • Family
For those who loved Mr. Mitchell and Tiny Town Golf: it’s just not the same any more. They have put down new carpet and poured new concrete footings which is good. The alligator has been revamped and the windmill is solar powered BUT many of the flowers are missing. Some of the obstacles that made the course a little easier/better to play are gone. The 19th hole is still there with free games.
The course is supposed to be open til 8:00 during tourist season, but it was closed by 7:15 when we went there. Part of the charm of this place was the “family” feeling. That seems to be gone, too.

The Best Mini Golf in Town!
Jun 2018 • Family
We were thrilled to see that Tiny Town Miniature Golf had reopened this season-it's a regular stop on our annual trip to Estes Park! The price ($5/golfer) is more-than-reasonable, and the course is very clean and well-maintained. The little greens are in good shape, and it's a remarkable amount of fun for such a low price!

Tiny Town Currently Closed
Jun 2017 • Family
For everyone that loves Tiny Town: and there are many of us: it is currently closed.
Mr. Mitchell, the owner and Tiny Town fixture died in the fall. All of us are sad. Even sadder is that the golf course closed at this death.
It has been purchased by Trout Haven and the plans are supposed to be that the golf course will re-open with the new owners.
As of mid June, the golf course is still closed.
Without Mr. Mitchell, the course will never be totally the same, but let's hope that it does reopen and continue with "family fun" for one and all.
