We arranged a half day fly fishing trip for our family of 3 adults. We purchased our licenses there, pulled on their waders, and headed out. Matt Shaffer took us past the "decoy water" where he said people fished because it was easy to get to but there were no fish. Carrying their rods and flies, we hiked up a... More

So much to look at! Lots of souvenirs to bring home and gear to get you prepared for your excursions. From stickers and sunglasses to boots and rock climbing gear. Friendly staff. Items available for men, women and children.

Everyone here was so very friendly and helpful! We visited the shop twice-once the day we arrived to get our fishing licenses, and later to make a few other purchases. I highly recommend this shop!

Matt was our guide for fly fishing. Very patient man and taught us a lot. We did catch fish but not big ones. Gave us a feel for fly fishing.

I was looking for a private guided hike for myself and my two sons and the only options that came up on tripadvisor were booked. However, when we arrived at our hotel, I saw the mountain shop advertisement in our hotel brochure. I called and Elizabeth was SUPER helpful. I told her what I was looking for and she called... We enjoyed talking with the local employees who made good recommendations. Do yourself a favor and go buy yourself a hiking pole from them. I thought they looked dumb but I can't say how much they helped in our week of hiking. Mine by mountainsmith was a whopping twenty bucks and it saved me ten times that much in injuries.... More

You can find just about anything you need for your Colorado adventures here. We always find treasures in the bargain basement, too! We go to Estes park almost every summer and always stop here.

We stopped by here to quickly buy a pair of water sandals for my wife's rafting trip. Immediately found a great pair of Merrills in the bargain basement she loved. Great price, happy wife. We went back the next day after dinner to just shop. Found a number of things at great prices. Went back on the way out of... More
