While driving the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway you see some spectacular views of the mountains as well as the different colors of the trees. The dark green of the pine and fir are of contrasted with the lighter green of the aspen. The roads are quite curvy, which, in my opinion, only adds to its beauty.

We drove the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway on our way to Estes Park instead of the usual busy highways. A very peaceful and relaxing drive. Be sure to have you camera ready. Stop at the Chapel on the Rock Church. It is usually open to the public. Please make a monetary contribution when you leave to help support the... More

Great road to travel if you like mountains and wildlife. You can see elk, moose, deer, and smaller animals like chipmunks and ground squirrels. I recommend stopping at Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Brainard Lake, Wild Basin, and Lily Lake. Great way to access Rocky Mountain National Park. Also really good for fall colors.

This drive should be on everyone's bucket list. The mountain scenery is beyond compare. There are plenty of places to pull off and explore. We did the drive in both directions in one day without a problem but to really enjoy RMNP you need 2 or 3 days at a minimum to absorb even some of its magnificence. Expect a... More

A beautiful drive with a great view of Longs Peak. If you don't already know, Baldpate Inn is on Rt 7, across from Lily Lake but away from the road and easy to miss. An interesting place to stop on the drive. There is a huge collection of keys on display dating back to the first given by Clarence Darrow... More

We had driven through Boulder on our way to Estes Park from Denver. While on our way back, decided to take the peak to peak scenic highway; connect to I70 back to Denver Very beautiful drive; quiet; not a lot of traffic; lots of options to take multiple stops. I would highly recommend if going back to Denver.

Definitely a beautiful area to go through and visit and see all of the local sights. Gorgeous views and a little out of the way but definitely worth seeing!
