We were so glad we booked the horseback ride through Crescent Trail Rides. The guides were very friendly, helpful, and showed us points of interest and talked about redwood forest history. It was my 2nd time on a horse and the horse did fantastic. Highly recommend it!

What a perfect way to experience the magnificent Redwood Forrest! The horses were sure footed and very gentle! 5 of the 7 of us had no horse riding experience and walked away with smiles and happy stories to share. Laurie, our trail guide, was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. We all felt very comfortable with her. We brought apples and carrots to share with our horses afterwards! They loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ride through the Redwood Forest. The guides were extremely friendly, showing us points of interest, answering questions and talked about Redwood Forest. They shared information about the horses which really had an impact on the younger members of our group. If I could give them 10 stars I would. One of the girls says this was the best part of her entire vacation. Thank you so much!

Crescent Train Rides is friendly and accommodating. They are very patient and helpful to those who have little to no riding experience. Their heart for people, their horses, and the beautiful environment we rode in is self evident. Our family loved our forest ride and highly recommend this group to anyone! We look forward to seeing them again!

Our ride was AMAZING. It was a sunny day and beautiful trail. Such a fun and relaxing way to explore some BIG redwoods! Our guide was knowledgeable of the area, friendly and patient. Plus our horses were well trained which made us feel so safe! Thanks again.

My 2 teenagers and I chose to do a horseback ride on the beach. The weather was not ideal, but there was clear communication up until our time slot. We decided to chance it and go for the ride anyway. It was windy and cold, and rained and hailed on us, but the ride was really fun! The horses were perfect for us novices, well taken care of and our guide (Lori) was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We learned a little of the history of Tolowa Dunes State Park. When we make our way back to Crescent City, we will be sure to book another ride with Crescent Trail Rides.

This was an incredible way to start our trip to see the redwoods! We were able to meet up at the trailhead and have an awesome guide show us the way along the horse trails. Great horses that had personality and rode easy. The tour was informative and stunning, our guide even took our photos and airdropped them to us after the ride. She answered all our questions and laughed with us during our ride. It is really a totally different and beautiful view to see the Redwoods on horseback and I encourage everyone to do this at some point on your journey! 10/10 would recommend!

I would highly recommend Crescent Trail Rides for a relaxing excursion. Took my family on a beach ride and the experience was amazing. The guides were friendly and accommodating, the views were breathtaking, and the horses were well trained. Would definitely ride again!

Lori and Stacy were awesome !! The trip went smooth , those girls knew what they were doing. I bought this beach horseback riding tour as a gift for my coworker and last minute we added a 10 year old and it was soo worth it ! The most unique and memorable gift you can give anybody.I would defiantly do it again but this time i would try the Redwood tour.

What an amazing ride. I am 58 and have not been on a horse since I was five and the horse was going in a circle. The team made me feel very comfortable and once I got over my own nerves and got to know my horse Boots, we had a great time. The ride starts out in the trees and brush. Midway we were on the beach for a lovely view and ride. You will be so happy when you see the beach. It was like we were in a movie. I could not recommend this group enough. The lead would point out wild life and historical facts. We had an amazing time.
