Awesome campground!
Jun 2021
We pulled in not expecting to find a spot on Memorial Day weekend. Most were tamed but we found a few in the back. Plenty of privacy and quiet . The camp host was really hospitable and sells firewood. Buy some as he volunteers here for the county. Def will stay here on the next trip.

Inexpensive camping in the redwoods.
Jul 2020
This is a beautiful grove of redwoods, with streams flowing through it, and it is five minutes from town. You can usually find a campsite, and it is only $15 a night.

Camping 2020

This campground was such a great find. I don’t think we saw a bad camp site! The huge redwood trees made for a beautiful canopy over the park. Camp host was super friendly.

What a hidden gem
Aug 2019
In my twenty plus years of living in the area, had never been to this park. My church was having a picnic there, so that was the reson for going. Was glad I did as I was impressed wtih the camping facilities, cheap at $5 and the group area had a large field with horseshoe pits, covered tables and BBQ's. A little more direction as you drove through would have been helpful, but it was a great short drive!

Peaceful

Visited my daughter's family while they were camped here and we were heading to a motel South of Crescent City. I can say the sites are pretty and there were lots of interesting tree stumps for kids to play in and goof off on.

Our campsite was burglarized!
Jul 2019 • Family
Our campsite was burglarized while we were in town. They stole sleeping bags, lawn chairs, flashlights, four duffel bags/backpacks full of clothes, and overnight bags with toiletries. They ruined the zipper on our tent, which can’t be closed now. A sheriff deputy told me that they, “try to do regular patrols through the campground, because they have been having these kinds of problems.” At a nearby campsite I see a truck with a busted-out rear window. Campers were loud past midnight. Some campers and their campsites don’t appear well-kept. A beautiful campground, that I would NOT recommend staying in.

Best kept Secret in Town!
Nov 2017 • Couples
Florence Keller is a camp park-of the best caliber! You can visit during the day and enjoy an expert, award winning, photo opportunity! This grove of trees is imbedded with a ground cover of luxurious ferns and beautiful tall Redwoods! Very inexpensive for overnight stays, 15$, and nearby Brookings (20 minutes); and an hour away from Cave Junction, Oregon- This spot is casually located next to Hwy 101-but hidden from view! If you want a convenient spot, near all the amenities-near stores, hot spots, ocean and streams-this campground is for You!

Beautiful Park
Oct 2017 • Family
This park is absolutely gorgeous. It sits amongst the tall redwoods and there is a creek that runs through the park. Its accessible from two points. There are many campgrounds to stay overnight and there are many spots for just a day trip. There is a huge playground for kids to play at.

Camping every year!
Aug 2017 • Couples
My daughter and her family camp at this County Park every year. It is a beautiful campground and well maintained. There are no showers, but there are flush toilets and outhouses. There is a small park where kids can play. Also many trails throughout the campground.

We came across this little gem. They have first come first serve camping. It's $15 and you pay the "iron ranger". We rolled in around 12 and set up camp. The trees were enormous and the sites are very secluded. The bathrooms were a bit questionable. The doors in the women's restrooms have no locks and there's music playing from somewhere. There are no showers. Overall I would recommend this Park and i would definitely stay here again. I just hope they reconsider the bathrooms.
