My husband and I love going to the Bradley Playhouse and have seen many excellent shows and plays. In June we attended The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience starring Joby Rogers. It was a high energy production; in which both young and old members of the audience participated in and enjoyed. A fun experience!

The Bradley Playhouse has been entertaining the northeast corner of Connecticut with high-talent community theater for almost 30 years, but the venue’s history goes back over a century. In the heart of Putnam, a great destination in itself, the Playhouse has a yearlong 7-production list, with added events like 4 live-comedy nights, special appearances of entertaining storytellers and concert events as well. Popcorn, candy and soft drinks are always available for a low price and some performances add wine and beer availability. Seating 3-400, performances here are intimate, and can be seen in the recently restored interior featuring floor and balcony seating. Tickets can be purchased online or inside and there is a lift ramp at the entrance for the mobility-impaired. Great spot, and well supported by the community.

I am a actress (in the community theatre) but there is something special about the Bradley. Yes it’s historic but I love going to the Bradley whether it’s acting on stage or seeing a show.
