My father was stationed at Quantico in the 60s and he was a tour guide at the old Marine Museum. Needless to say, we were excited when we found out that the new museum had finally opened in Nov 06. We went down the following...More

If you have a member of your family that's of the canine persuasion, you'll probably want to leave fido at home. However, there's no way to really know this unless you suffer though a visit with you four-legged companion in tow. I searched the museum...More

Thank you for visiting the Museum and for bringing your concerns to my attention. The information you received at the front desk was correct - we do allow furry visitors in Semper Fidelis Memorial Park as long as they are on a leash, well-behaved and...More

The Museum is outstanding. Full of American History. Only one drawback, bring your own lunch. The food in Devil dog cafe is over priced, cold and bad. The staff wasn't very nice at all.

The museum itself is laid out in chronological order and some of the rooms will blow you away (figuratively) with the way they transport you to that event. I strongly recommend the outside walkway, it is quite a smooth path and I also recommend a...More

This is like looking at living history of the Marine Corps and not to be missed by anyone in any branch of service or civilian. There is no cost, two great restaurants, place for kids to play, and huge grounds to walk about.

We're so glad you enjoyed the National Museum of the Marine Corps! Thank you for mentioning our amazing team of docents, we'd be absolutely lost without them. We hope you'll come back often to see what we're adding.

While visiting family in the area we toured this unbelievable museum. The level of detail and effort for each time period persentation was truly remarkable. You need to allow at least 3 hours to be able to view the entire museum. We will visit again.
