Wild or not, tucked away down a little cobble stone pathway, is a little store that is loaded with the designs of the owner, Sally Moon. Ready To Wear Collection, Handcrafted and Natural Fibers, Colorful Ethic look, Apparel, Textiles and Jewelry abound. Have a look at the beautifully crafted leather Handbags and Purses. Sally approached me and told me about her second store just across the little courtyard where most of the Ready To Wear is housed with a ton of very interesting Jewelry pieces. Ms. Moon was getting ready for an up-coming fashion show so she was very busy. I made my purchase of a beautiful Linen top and headed back out into the sunshine. Pay the two little stores a visit, you'll be glad you did.

I believe there are still horse rides in the open plains. I could find beautiful clothes in the shops. Nice walking community. Historical.
Would like to go back and visit and stay there awhile!

Tucked into a little warren of a courtyard in Old Town ABQ, with a fountain, a one-off coffee shop, and other artisan boutiques, is a wonderful women's clothing store featuring colorful items from around the world. Sally Moon is very helpful and has an eye for this.

The boutique carries a wonderful selection of southwestern clothing, purses, boots and jewelry. Unique and original designs. Owner Sally Moon is delightful. She opened up her studio across the patio from the boutique and showed us beautiful original and creative custom designs. Some valued several thousand dollars.

I found it! A Top that Lady Mary would Love. In Linen. Weighty, but Not Heavy. Soft but Not Wimpy. Luscious Colors and True White. In a very Un-Lady Mary-ish Shop…Wild Moon Boutique in Old Town, Albuquerque.
Where the Wild WoMan Shops! A Shop that Pays Homage to Frida Kahlo in a huge way. With Color and Embroidery and Leathers and Fringe and Lace. Custom Boots to Die For. And Centered in the Riotous Swirls of Patterns sits the Lady Mary Classic…In 100% Linen. Washable Linen that Wears Like Iron. Classic Cuts. Dressmaker Details. Drape. It Feels Just Right. After shopping we enjoyed the Mariachis in the Plaza…
And Shared Steak Fajitas for Lunch at La Placita Dining Rooms, circa 1935…Formerly Casa Armijo, circa 1880.
On Second Thought, Lady Mary would have Loved this Shopping Trip…A True Afternoon of Magic.
