Wow! What a show! I have never seen flamenco so good, so close!! This is a small and intimate venue, but the energy is full-scale. The dancer’s feet shook the floor and I could feel the energy radiate through my chair!

If you like flamenco… or are just curious about whether you might like flamenco… you’d be hard pressed to find a better show in Spain. Definitely worth checking out!

On Saturday, July 26, we attended one of Casa Flamenca's tablaos. It was a great experience! The flamenco singer and guitarist were absolutely amazing, and Jesus and Valeria, the dancers, were stellar! The setting is very intimate- reminiscent of flamenco in Spain. The place, which is an actual home, holds only 30-40 people. Chairs and a couple very small tables were set up in the area where dance classes are held at other times. People may bring their own wine (glasses, too, although the owners have some available.) This is excellent entertainment for locals (as I am) but I think tourists would really feel they hit the jackpot if they discovered this little "back door" find. Check the website to see when the tablaos happen; right now it is only once or twice a month. Tickets are available online for $20, or at the door, if there are seats available. Well worth a visit!

I have been taking classes at Casa Flamenca for over 4 years and the growth I have experienced has been incredible. Jesus and Valeria are hard working artists who teach from the heart; it's great to see that they teach original material they actually perform themselves. They also live and breathe flamenco everyday, since the studio I am their actual home. If you're looking for a place to learn real Flamenco, Casa Flamenca is the place to be.

Dynamic and sexy come to mind as I reflect on the fabulous flamenco dance we went to tonight with our friends. We are visiting Albuquerque for a couple days and our friends invited us to a superb flamenco show. They did not do it justice! We were awed by the breathtaking performances in a very intimate setting. This summer tablaos at Casa Flamenca was bold and powerful. The singing, dancing and guitar playing in the very intimate setting left us wanting more. We stayed after the show and spent a little time getting to know these fabulous performers. This is a definite must see up close experience if you are ever in Albuquerque. I highly recommend it.

The performance is staged in a small intimate setting not far from Old Town. Jesus and Valeria were very entertaining. Over the summer there is also a singer from Spain. You can bring your own beverage. Very delightful experience, reasonably priced. A great opportunity to see an authentic performance.

This was a brilliant show, the guitarist and singer were fabulous and the dancing was truely spectacular. A small intimate performance with an audience of approx 22 so glad we booked. Bring your own drink as this is a dance studio so no bar/drink facilities.

The first time I went to Casa Flamenca, this small club/studio was having a private event & requested I return later. And return I did having seen costumes on a rack and a short peek at the dance floor. The very small audience of 22 gathered around the wooden dance floor just before the guitar player and singer set up. Two dancers, one female and one male, dynamically commanded the show in this small but highly intimate performance venue. Put yourself in the scene of Andalusia....artists from Cadiz, Malaga....welcome to Spain and enjoy! Park on side street, about $30/person, you may wish to call in advance to insure there's no private event. Runs two months in height of summer only.

These guys just get better and better. Last night's packed tablao performance topped any flamenco show I've seen anywhere in the world including in Spain, and I've seen dozens. The very best of local talent combined with first-rate performers from southern Spain.
Whether you live in New Mexico or are just visiting, are new to flamenco or already familiar with it, a show by this company is not to be missed.
The classes they offer to people of all ages come highly recommended also.
Wow!

Having lived in Spain and seen the best they can offer (which is, of course, fantastic), I was thrilled to discover such a superb tablao performance in Albuquerque. I live here in the 'flamenco capital of the US', and have seen many different shows. The quality is always good, but the level of artistry at Casa Flamenca with its intimate atmosphere surpasses all. I hope to see many more of their shows, both during the summer tablao season, and their twice-yearly shows at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. I also understand that they offer classes year-round for all levels and ages, and they have a very nice boutique which sells quality jewelry, plus flamenco-related and other attractive gift items.Congratulations to all the wonderful performers.

The tablao at Casa Flamenca is passion and artistry in an intimate setting. You're there, a few feet from the performers, hearing every nuance of the guitar and singer, feeling the floor vibrate from the force of the dance. The performance draws you in, and astonishes you with its intensity and depth of feeling. It's like watching the soul of flamenco, passing from singer to guitar to dancers. If you've never experienced flamenco, this is the experience you should have. If you know flamenco, this is one you'll remember.
