For being in the middle of the desert, this is a very nice aquarium. Well maintained, great staff and wonderful sea life. They also have a touching pool for the kids. Great for families.

The shark tank, sting ray exhibit, and jelly fish are fun to see. However, I'm sad to see they got rid of the moray eels. A couple tanks didn't have water in them. Seems to have gone down hill a little over the last few...More

Not a large aquarium, but a great size for families with young children - enough to hold their interests with an overhead walk-through tunnel, and LARGE viewing walls. Very well maintained with some nice displays. It isn't big, but great for all ages. I have...More

Surprised to find such a nice aquarium in a city like Albuquerque. Quite a variety of displays and organisms. We were able to watch the keepers feed the fish. At 2pm the divers feed the fish in the shark tank(the same tank you can view...More

This little aquarium is a good value as it is attached to the Gardens. It has a varied specimen range with a large tank containing some very large sharks. The coral reef is especially attractive. It also shows a giant clam and jellyfish attractively displayed....More

Nice facility, fish/animals all seemed healthy and stress-free. Good flow, but easily overwhelmed when at capacity of visitors. I recall being surprised when we reached the end, as it seemed a bit short, but that's not a complaint - I just wanted it to keep...More

My nephew, his wife and two toddlers came to visit. They were "blown away" by our aquarium and have absolutely nothing like it in the whole Detroit area. The kids ran from one huge tank to another and were delighted with everything. It wore them...More

I love aquariums, and as aquariums go, this is actually pretty good. It is of course not the Boston Aquarium, or Monterey Bay Aquarium, but seriously, at one point, I thought I WAS at Monterey Bay. Check out the downstairs with jellys and the large...More

What a great surprise to discover such a FANTASTIC Aquarium in a small city! The displays are creative and captivating throughout! There are both open and enclosed viewing tanks. The most amazing to us was the open pool of manta rays and the submarine viewing...More

This is a nice educational experience for children and a pleasant place for adults. There are many informative signs and features both salt and fresh water fish -- pretty good for a town in the desert. There is also a botanical garden which draws plant...More

It's possible, but it depends on what kind of experience you want. You can just run through everything real quick if you want to rush. I like to take more time to see things. You'll probably miss the scheduled feedings of... More
