While visiting we saw that they are building a sea otter enclosure. They have a new touch pool, but the water is pretty deep, so you are unlikely to actually get to touch anything unless you stick your arm into water up to your armpit,...More

They had a good variety of fish and other aquatic animals. There are couple of floor to ceiling enclosures and a walk through tunnel. I loved the shark room. There were some really big ones, as well as gigantic stingrays and sea turtles. It was...More

A very small aquarium but included some interesting sea creatures. A river otter exhibition is coming soon which should enhance the venue.

This is a very small aquarium that will appeal to kids. It won't take a lot of time - although I saw a lot of kids just standing stock still in front of some of the tanks. We went to the botanic gardens first and...More

BioPark Aquarium, which is adjacent to the BioPark Botanic Gardens, is a compact, but well displayed aquarium. The exhibits are arranged in themes, such as coral sea fish and sea life, and freshwater/saltwater fish. Children in particular will delight in walking through a tunnel with...More

This aquarium is very well-kept. It is somewhat smaller than the average aquarium that I have visited. However, if you're going to be in the area anyway, it is worth the visit.

The aquarium was the best part of our visit. Ticket price is reasonable but we purchased the combo admission which includes the Zoo, Aquarium and Botanic Garden with unlimited train rides. We first took the 30 minute train ride (located at the back end of...More

This is a small aquarium that is right next to the Botanical Gardens so I would suggest doing these two on the same day. They have sea life and native NM species. Was there on a "slow" day, but it was not quiet and peaceful....More

Being from the East coast and having been to many aquariums I would say this one is just average. Average food at the Shark Bite Cafe at exorbitant prices and the aquarium may take you an hour to see.

If you are visiting the Botanical garden or the Zoo, definitely worth checking out the Aquarium. The shark exhibit is awesome! It is small and only takes about an hour. Has a great restaurant that is not very well advertised or visible from the outside.

There are several parks included at the Biopark. Aquarium, zoo and a botanical garden. You can pick any one, or buy a combo ticket and see them all in a day. Prices range from $20 for adults to $6 for children, this is for... More
