The park itself looks nice and I do see people picnicking periodically when I drive by (often). It is near the University and has been known to be a hang out for people without homes. Especially, during the evening. This area of town (and around...More

This park is one of the only fully shaded parks in Albuquerque. I have only been there recently to play disc golf. There are rolling hills, and you need to be aware of people there to enjoy the shade and park/picnic when throwing discs.

We stopped here for a picnic while we were on a road trip. It was clean, cool, shady, and peaceful. The kids loved to get out and play.

This park has a wonderful perimeter path, lots of mature trees, interesting terrain. This was a refreshing stop during an overnight stay on a long road trip. Family friendly.

If you like picnics with family, this is the place to go. You can relax in the park, play frisbee or football, run around, laze on the grass, eat, drink and just have a good time. The lawns are beautiful.

I used to hang there when I was a kid and it is a beautiful park! It need to be kept up and make it a safe place for families. Maybe having some music events in the park would be good.
