My wife and I decided to take in the Zoo while we were in Old Town and were very happy. For $10 a senior can get a pass to everything including the Zoo, Aquarium, Botanical Gardens, and Zoo Train. And to see the zoo you do need the zoo train, which I thought was a very enjoyable ride. It wouldn't... More

Loved visiting this zoo with our kids of multiple ages. The train is roomy for adults to ride on. We fed giraffes and sat on a throne embellished with marbles. A day could easily be spent here.

The zoo was alright but I guess we went on a really hot day, as the heat was unbearable and they do not have enough shade. Also, I didn't care for the floor plan as to get on the train you have to walk a long way and you pretty much only see one side of the zoo. We were... More

I struggle with zoos on principle: I truly dislike the idea of animals in confined spaces, not in their natural habitat. That said, I think this zoo is well done. It's clean, educational for little ones and the zoo concerts are such a fun way to spend a Friday evening for very little cost. The layout is great and the... More

This was a great thing to spend an afternoon doing while trying to entertain a two year old. It was very inexpensive and provided a lot of entertainment. The park was beautiful, clean, and had nice restroom facilities. I would recommend this to people traveling without children as well.

There is a good variety of animals to see. It is pretty walkable with a stroller. I only wish they had healthier food options. All they seemed to serve were hamburgers, hotdogs, & nachos. However you can pack a picnic and eat inside the zoo.

We got there kind of late so we didn't have a lot of time. Enjoyed the aquarium and zoo, but I wish we had more time to see the garden. We checked the garden out briefly and it was just beautiful that I really wanted to see more, but the trains have schedules. I don't like the fact that the... More

This is our 3rd time here at the zoo. Somewhat disappointed since we came all the way from El Paso Tx. The other 2 times we really enjoyed, but this time we didn't. The animals weren't out or around. Assuming due to the hot weather. Also a lot of exhibits were closed. The train ride to the aquarium & botonical... More

Great value. Very educational for my children. My family spent 7 hours there. All of the employees and volunteers at all three places were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant was wonderful and my children enjoyed watching the fish and sharks in the tank as we had lunch. I would highly recommend anyone with children take a full day to... More

Besides all the foods being overpriced, it was a long walk to find that certain areas were closed. We had to walk a long way to find that the primate sections were closed. The raptor section had one eagle and 2 buzzards. There were few Elephants, and one tiger with tigress. Even the reptile section was closed, save for the... More
