This zoo is big and the animals have lots of room. We were only able to see about half of the zoo. Part of the reason why it took so long is because we stopped to feed the fish, the lorakeets and the giraffe and ride the train. All the staff were friendly - feeding assistants, train conductors and engineers,... More

We went as part of a combined ticket to see the botanical gardens, aquarium, and zoo. Being interested in the carnivore exhibit, we headed there first. Perhaps it was just the wrong time of day, but most of the animals (of those that were actually there - a few weren't) were sleeping in hard-to-view areas. But the main objection was... More

There isn't much to do in abq unless you like food. Went with a friend and she enjoyed it. It is a steal when bundled with the aquarium and botanical garden tickets. Its not as big as most zoo's but heyyyy you are in new mexico, what do you expect

We take our daughter (now 7) almost every summer, when we visit Albuquerque. She likes it — what kid doesn't like lions and tigers and bears and whatnot? There is a value in exposing her these things. But it's a zoo: for the environmentally conscious adult, it remains basically a prison for wild animals. They seem to be treated reasonably... More

We continue to visit our zoo at least monthly with and without our kids and grandkids and always have a eXcellent time. We follow the zoo babies as they are born and as they grow up. Our zoo is always trying to improve and add new exhibits. The Tasmanian Devils were adorable and orangatangs with their young keep our attention... More

I NEVER miss coming here when I am in Albuquerque! You can get a ticket to go to all three venues and save money, which includes a train ride from one side of the park to the other, PLUS a train ride inside the zoo! The zoo has a wide variety of animals organized by type (mammals, etc). Don't miss... More

The botanical garden is beautiful and don't miss the "bugarium" and the butterfly exhibit. We could have spent the day in there! Nicely laid out space. Didn't get to the zoo yet, but your garden ticket includes the aquarium, which makes sense because that part of the day took about 20 minutes. Needs work.

Really fun for our 10 month old to see all the animals. Thought it might be too crowded/hot on a Saturday but it was just right!

A great experience, not to be missed in Albuquerque. A great way to celebrate a day with your spouse and/or family.
