The builders have done a great job with this outdoor group of memorial areas. There is one area for each major combat event from the territorial wars with Mexico through the current war on terror.

This was a very moving experience. We were first given an overview of the memorial by a New Mexican veteran outlining the origins of the memorial. It was a very hot day, but did my best to cover as much of the site as temps and my enegy would allow. For a good while my companion and I found a... More

The Veterans Memorial on Louisiana SE is a nicely done salute to all those who served from New Mexico. The architecture and design of the memorial allows you to walk through and see tributes to veterans from all wars and conflicts where New Mexicans took part.

A well thought-out property, dedicated to honoring America's veterans. They have some splendid celebrations on all the appropriate days set aside to honor our veterans. If you have not been, you should stop by and see it, and pay respect to those who have sacrificed so much.

What a great peaceful setting .It is one of the only states to dedicate land for a Veteran's memorial that is not a cemetery. The grounds are maintained by dedicated volenteers and the museum with the different artifacts is well worth the visit.
