My wife and I had intended for quite some time to try out the Rail Runner, but procrastinated until promising our 4 year old granddaughter her 1st train ride. We parked downtown Albuquerque and rode the train to the railyard in Santa Fe where we walked through the market, took in a movie, and had a late lunch. She was... More

A great way to get from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, or vice versa. It is about a one hour ride and drops you of at the Santa Fe plaza. Great for walking and some excellent restaurants.

We took the Rail Runner from downtown Albuquerque 20 minutes north to the third stop. $2 for me, free for both kids. Cheap entertainment. You don't see a whole lot of scenery in that small stretch (I'm sure it's better to the north), but it the kids liked it. Clean, smooth, easy transportation.

The Rail Runner is smooth and easy, gets you to Albuquerque or Santa Fe in comfort. Best of all there are observation cars an seats that face each other for those with families. The price is reasonable, especially when one considers you have to pay for parking in Santa Fe if you drive. A couple of draw backs, there's no... More

The ride is relaxing, the price (for a senior) is cheap at $4 one way, there is a free bus for everyone at the downtown Albuquerque train station. The bus leaves about 5 minutes after the train arrives and is an express right to the airport. What more can I say except that there are only 4 trains daily from... More

There is restroom aboard and some seating’s have tables to put your laptops on when traveling, also there are electrical outlets for your electronics with the table seating’s. The... More

This is a huge disappointment. This rail runner does not run on time, and is typially very dirty inside.

Sky, sun, beautiful scenery and countryside you can't see when traveling in the car is what you enjoy when you take the NM Rail Runner from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. It is a great trip for family and friends to enjoy together and when you arrive in Santa Fe you are relaxed and ready to take in the sights before... More

I love riding this train up to Santa Fe. My favorite trip is to ride it to go to lunch - so relaxing and stress free!
