We took the Rail Runner from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and back. The train station in Santa Fe is within walking distance of the Palace of the Governors and the surrounding tourist attractions.

A comfortable ride thru interesting countryside with grand vistas. A heads up on boarding the train about the restrictions on photographing native Indian communities would have been appreciated to avoid embarrassment of being asked to put away our cameras by reservation officers.
