The Show is Albuquerque's critically acclaimed professional comedy improv troupe. Modeled after Chicago's polished comedic style and performance formats, all shows are based entirely on audience suggestions - each night is completely different! The Show is a fast-paced, quick-witted comedy show that's fun for everyone. The cast of The Show is as dynamic as they are witty. Headed by director and performer Alex Knight, and manager and performer Melissa Heiman, The Show's cast includes Patrick Gozur, Steve Lucero, Fernando Fresquez, Lauren Poole and Heather Yeo. The Show's music is perfected by Wesley Swedenburg and musical director Casey Mraz.

Went to see the improv show at the box on a Saturday night. The show was great. The theater is small and asks for ideas from the audience. We laughed hard. I was impressed that the actors kept it entertaining but also kept it PG13, despite getting some fairly risque suggestions from the audience. The hour long show was just... More

I am a fan of SCTV, and Saturday Night live so to see an improv troupe that literally works off of what the audience provides is a rare gem. "Du-op song about a dating pet peeve, with harmonies priceless. A tall bearded man playing the role of a teenager girl explains to her dad(a petite young lady) about the lameness... More

If you are looking for a good time and a great night out, this is the place to be! At 8pm The Show performs an entirely improvised show, so it's different every week!! Then at 9:30, check out some sketch and improv with Comedy? So much fun, and always different, I keep returning for more!!!!!

My husband and I had LivingSocial tickets to the late improv show at the Box (which had been called Comedy? appropriately enough, but I think they've now changed the name). I honestly think that if we had gone to watch middle schoolers tell jokes to each other, it would have been more funny than what we saw. Toilet humor and... More

They have two shows on Fridays. The 8 is there regular improv show. There 930 is there late comedy question mark show that included improv and sketch. The improv was dramatic and they did some long form and short form improv. Some of their short form improv wasn't too good. And the show was kind if short

Look, what are you going to do on a Friday or Saturday night? Go to a movie. Really? Do the characters in the movie talk back to you? Do they perform live just a few feet from your seat? Do they use their talent on the spot to create characters and sketches that are hilarious? No? Then spend the same... More

The shows here are so much fun. I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face. The problem is the space. It's small, cramped, and I wish they offered more concessions. But hey, it's only $8, so I shouldn't complain!!!!!

My husband and I went out to see the "Q" soap opera improv show and "The Show" regular improv show back to back. We actually preferred "The Q" and found that a few of the comedians were spectacular. From the small stage inside and the obviously low budgeted acting, the pricing is a little high at $8 but in the... More
