I've been a member of Explora since moving to the state 7 years ago, and it is well worth the price. The kids will want to come back often, and they change things up frequently enough to keep it interesting. You can easily spend an entire morning or afternoon here. But the big secret is the Adult Nights that they... More

Explora is a highly interactive discovery center for curious minds of all ages. Our family had teens and toddlers parents and grandparents exploring construction, air, light, color, music, water, motion and so much more! An area for children under 2 offers simple discoveries and a great place for parents to chat. The bubble area is especially fun. The staff is... More

The Explora Science Center is a real children's delight, with enough scientific content to hold adults' interests as well. This is definitely a New Mexico gem.

Spent part of the day after Christmas here. Took two grandkids under the age of 12yrs. They had a wonderful time playing in all of the areas/exhibits. Areas that the enjoyed the most included playing with the lrg foam blocks in the 2nd floor patio, making bubbles, and learning about wind.

When we gave birth we got a free membership so we tool our 3 month old at the time just to see how it is and as expected she didn't care but we loved it. We had more fun then some of the kids we saw there. We can't wait to take her back when shes understands.

I've been here many times with kids & always a fun outing for/with youngsters. However, this was the first time I'd gone for "adult night" at Explora & we had an absolute blast! There are so many fascinating interactive exhibits & it's rather delightful to experience this adventure solely from an adult perspective...as we're all kids to someone! Live music... More

We took a teenager and still spent almost 2 hours exploring. The hands on activities are for young and old.

Explora is a medium sized museum, packed with small exhibits designed to encourage curious and playful learning. The entire place caters mostly to inquisitive younger folks who want to explore things and touch and try out things. It is kind of like a k-12 science teacher lab gone extreme. The exhibits are designed by educators; some are self explanatory and... More

My grandchildren love this place! There is so much to see and do! Nice that they change exhibits to keep things fresh and new, as well as maintaining the older exhibits. The staff seemed even more helpful this time than usual, and this was appreciated.

I spent time with my best friend and her 2 young children here, and I loved all the activities Explora has for the kids of all ages "including us adults" I would have loved to be able to spend more time looking around and having fun. This is a place to fill your day with learning and using your imagination.
