We 3 adults spent a fascinating 5 hours exploring this science center. The kids were nice and polite, graciously letting us take turns as we explored the bubble room, rode the aerial bike, and experimented with water, wind, gravity, music, puzzles, flew the airplane, etc. We really enjoyed setting up the pinball machine and are planning on building one for... There's a lot of "hands-on" projects that the kids and grown-ups will enjoy. Lots of learning activities.

A word to the wise, look at the website so you can plan which day will be the most interesting for your group. There is alot to do and you can easily spend half a day or more there. Activities for all age groups and a great value.

Many mind challenges for kids but a large number in need of repair. Still very enjoyable. A nice break from the heat

A wonderful hands on museum of mostly science and technology exhibits that both kids and parents will love. They often host special events with live music in the evenings too aimed at the older crowd. Plan on spending most of the day there!

While older kids sometimes do not find museums cool, this one was an exception! There are so many fun and interesting hands-on activities to challenge every age. My boys each rode the bike on a rope three times! A bonus was lunch at the Ponderosa, right down the street.

Explora! is a very hands-on, science-oriented museum. I was amazed at the number of exhibits that needed no intervention from staff to keep them operational. Exhibits run the gamut from sound and water, wind, electrical currents, visual oddities and many others I've not mentioned. They even have Madagascar hissing cockroaches (in a tank, or course)! Be prepared to spend a... More

Kids everywhere having a great time manipulating all the displays. A few seniors are well. Us included. Fascinating optical illusions, and a scary but safe high wire bicycle. Everything is in working order, which is a miracle given the heavy use it gets.

This was one of our kids' favorite places to visit while on our vacation in Albuquerque. This place is so cool. There are so many different things to do that can keep the kiddos busy for hours! My oldest enjoyed the high wire bicycle, my middle child enjoyed the sand and my youngest enjoyed ANY and EVERYTHING that made noise.... More
