Like the mall in Harlingen this one is slowly going out of business. It is sad to see one store after the other closing but it seems to be s sign of the times

Enough stores here to keep everyone happy, with JC Penney, Sears, Dillards and Dicks
Sporting goods to anchor the other stores. There is ample parking so that finding a place
to park is not such an inconvenience. And if the stores here aren't enough Ross, Marshall's and Burlington Coat are nearby.

No Book Store. No Music Store. Few High End Stores. Certainly a Lower Class Mall. Mostly filled with truants, degenerates, teen parents, and employees that don't speak English. Having a theatre connected to the mall is a disaster.

The mall itself is ok. How ever when we took the baby in to the family washroom for a diaper change we were disgusted. The walls and floor were dirty. It even smelt dirty. Shame on whoever is
managing and running this mall.

For all you shoppers, found this to be a beautiful mall. Great selection of current stores. Offers a good variety of stores. Very clean, nice choices in food court. Movie theatres also on site. Many vendors in the corridors also. Anchored by Dillard's , Penneys, Sears. Makes a good day of shopping. Located also next to further shopping.

Visited Sunrise Mall while I was in Brownsville. The mall is of good size and I felt all the people who worked there were pretty friendly. I would recommend this mall especially if you just want to see a friendly face. The guy who owns "The Dallas Cowboy Store" was exceptionally nice and this is coming from someone who isn't a Cowboys fan, but my husband is. The food court is pretty big with lots of chairs to sit on.

We visited this mall on our vacation on Padre Island. This is a usual mall with the shops you used to find on malls in USA.

We visit Jc Penny and Bealls. It say 70% discount and still have to pay 25 dollars for a blouse. Some business were closed without merchandise. It looked sad. It was not attractive to spend money. We run across the street and found better stores on the mall close to it.

Malls used to be place to be seen and enjoy social activities with friends while shopping. Lets be honest, the #1 reason people come here is because Cinmark is attached to the mall. If they left, the mall would lose a huge chunk of business. The #2 reason is people have lunch there. Its a retail wasteland and this mall is as empty as a cemetary.

How much mileage is it to make a loop around the mall? Nooks crannies and how much is it to just walk straight through?
Written February 10, 2019
It is probably about a mile to walk around the Mall in every nook and cranny. TO walk through from one side to the other East-Theater to West is maybe 1/8-1/4 of a mile.
