Mostly this deals with the beach by the holiday inn, just a couple hundred yards down is a public beach, drive up to the water (almost) and park. There isnt a paved parking lot like there is by the hotels, but there are bathrooms and free showers at the south end (far end away from the hotels. ie : the south end) Its very nice here. We've been going here for several years. From Corpus you go over the water to the island, about a mile or mile and a half down there is a stoplight with a gas station on the left. Turn left and follow that road straight back to it. Road stops at the sand (at a circle). Drive on to the sand and make an immediate right. You are on the beach, find a place to park and enjoy it !!! Depending on the weather over the gulf the waves can get big ( 3 feet, enough to bounce you around a bit) so be careful. Hope you have a great time if you go !!!!

You can park in an open free parking lot if you are not staying at the condos or Holiday Inn. You don`t get vehicle traffic on the Sea Wall Beach so it is safer for kids.

Went there a day ago and it was really nice to see. There are plenty of options to sit and watch the surroundings. Peaceful on a a Sunday that was a bit cold for temperature

We love this place. A "cement boardwalk" makes it nice to walk and see/smell the water witout getting sandy. The water was perfect. The city keeps the beach nice although the weekend crowd left lots of trash; shame on the slobs, especially when there are multiple trash cans available and yellow sacks to put trash in.

It's not your typical beach. It's on the bay not the Gulf. Good part is that means no choppy water. It caters more to the people staying at The Emerald Beach Hotel. If you're looking for a real beach with room to spread out head over to the Island.
